Birdie® is a Fresh Air Monitor™ to help improve your indoor climate & health. When air quality is poor Birdie® will drop down until you open your windows and bring it back to life. Simple as that. 90% of our life is spend indoors. Often in poor air quality increasing the risk of asthma, headache, fatigue and sleep disorders. Experts suggests that one of the best ways to improve indoor air quality is by ventilating frequently. This is a huge but invisible problem, calling for a visible solution - so we looked for one and came to think of 'the canary in the coal mine'. Around 1911, miners started carrying canaries into the coal mines to detect toxic air. When the bird fainted, it was time to get out of the mine. Jan 18,2024Super, works like a charm. When the bird drops her head e.g. when cooking or f-rt-ng and you open a window her head raises again. I presume the Birdie is female, correct me if I’m wrong!

Jan 18,2024Birdie is exactly what it says on the package. And it is a whimsical little thing to have on the wall. My kids are especially fund of their new pet, that they look after very carefully. We are venting more than we did before, so I must say that it is true to it's word.

Jan 18,2024Goeie looks en functionaliteit. Birdie laat me nooit twijfelen over de luchtkwaliteit in huis. Als er veel mensen over de vloer zijn, of wanneer het raam gewoon een tijdje niet is open geweest laat ze haar koppie hangen. Als er genoeg frisse lucht binnen is komt ze overeind. Hoe iets functioneels ook zo leuk kan zijn!!

Birdie brings me great peace of mind and even entertainment. Every time she drops- I gasp. and always feel better when she’s upright again.

Jan 18,2024Jeg modtog produktet på 1 dag. Det var den hurtigste levering, jeg har oplevet i Danmark. Jeg satte det i mit arbejdsværelse (fordi jeg bruger så meget tid der) og selvfølgelig på disse kolde vinterdage, glemmer jeg altid at åbne mine vinduer. Takket være 'Birdie' begyndte jeg at arbejde i et mere frisk miljø.

Jan 18,2024I was fortunate enough to adopt Birdie a few months ago, and I am more than thrilled! I never realized when the right time to ventilate is, and I was surprised how often one sits at home with poor air. It's somehow even fun to take care of Birdie so that he's always up. Since then, I've also had a lot fewer headaches... an incredibly great product and pretty too!!

Jan 16,2024Vi er rigtig glade for vores Birdie både som en pynte genstand og som dens virke som lufte-ud advarsel. Den er ligefrem blevet et nyt medlem af vores hjem :-) Birdie bliver meget beundret af vore gæster. En ting vi vil foreslå til næste version af Birdie er at den giver et lille pip, når den falder af pinden og når den kommer op igen.

Jan 13,2024Jeg har netop modtaget og monteret den lille fine fugl og er blevet overrasket over hvor stor en del af familien den allerede er blevet - min datter på 3 år hjælper med at holde øje med om fuglen hænger med næbbet eller er glad. Nu får vi lufter regelmæssig igennem for det er ikke til at holde ud at se den lille fugl hænge. Det er en virkelig fin og effektiv lille opfindelse.

Jan 11,2024Easy orddeling, Quick delivery. Easy installation. The Birdie works fine and it’s been an eyeopener how often during the day working from home you should refresh the air. As it is a pricy product, we would like the option of moving it around the house, but that requires multiple wall mounts which are not sold seperately, hence the four and not five stars. Update Jan 22nd 2024: The team at Birdie made me aware that additional Wall mounts are available and providdd them so my rating is updated.

Jan 10,2024Great idea and realisation: especially as it works without digital surveillance technology! It's also a nice metaphor to use a bird (canary) as an air guard - just like in the mines in the old days. We still have two Birdies with the original name and are very happy with them. The service is great too! Thank you and keep up the good work!
