Aug 14,2022I bought a denim apron recently. Before then I bought 2 pairs of jeans about 5 years ago that are still going strong. I also thinks it’s great that they will fix them for free if they do eventually need repairing.

Aug 10,2022I'd popped into the studio/shop to take a look at their products and was so impressed with their quality. Having placed my order online, Stuart checked in with me regarding hemming and went over size discrepancies in a really friendly and informative way. I love the jeans - i got the ecru standard fit, and they are fab. Packaged arrived quickly and love the heavy quality of the denim. I cannot recommend Blackhorse enough; the products are an investment as the price point is higher.

Aug 07,2022One of the best shopping experiences I've had in London. The shop staff was very knowledgeable and helpful, pointing out things about the various things I tried on. They also explained how to care for the jeans and what to expect from the fabric in terms of softening and shrinking. I'm already thinking about the next thing I'll get!

The commitment to quality is fantastic - and the jeans, shirt, jacket, jumper and bandana I have purchased over the last few years are all favourites. Thank you team.

Jul 24,2022These sandals are lovely and comfortable. The leather is really soft. I've worn them all day on several occasions and nary a rub or blister. The only little quibble I have is that the prong on the buckle is a bit fiddly when fastening he sandals, otherwise they are perfect for a summer sandal.

Jul 18,2022My jeans came with a lifetime free repair guarantee. Having been used for cycling to work over the winter, they developed a hole in inner leg. I sent them for repair and got them back much quicker than expected, very thoroughly patched and darned. Only had to pay for postage. Brilliant service!

The access to benefits with the membership make it 110% worth it and the membership fee is a great way to support this small / medium sized independent business which has great ambitions to contribute to sustainable fashion. Such a cool brand. Cannot wait to get involved in the workshops.

Aug 16,2022The NW1 jeans I bought are incredibly well made. They’re reassuringly weighty and feel like they’ll last forever. I briefly tried on my old 501s a few weeks after wearing the NW1s and they felt like thin pajamas. The hardware is also first class. Look forward to purchasing more items from BLA
