Nov 09,2023Burgess & Co recently sold my parent's home for my brother and I as part of our inheritance. The house went on the market at a difficult time, with prices falling and the market very quiet. The advice about the sale they gave to my brother and myself was extremely useful and professional. Despite losing one sale after many months of trying, they continued to work hard to get us the best price, and kept us up do date with all progress even when there was little to report. We never had to chase them for any information and always felt they were "on the case". I would highly recommend Burgess & Co for their guidance, hard work, and professionalism throughout the process, and for their friendly attitude at all times. I have moved house many times, but seldom had such a good experience with any other estate agent.

The staff at Burgess and Co were very reassuring and enthusiastic, encouraging us to be positive and confident that a buyer would be found. Once a buyer had been found Ben guided us through the complexities and frustrations of trying the reach the point of exchange. His local knowledge and understanding of the situation and his working relationship with our solicitor were an enormous help in progressing our sale. The team at Burgess and Co were very professional and efficient throughout the whole process. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone wanting to sell a property

Open to your suggestions about asking price but will be honest if your expectations are not achievable and will give valid reasons to back up their advice. Communication during the sales process was excellent. Feedback on viewings both negative and positive was always given. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Nov 30,2023The team at Burgess & Co provided a first class service from the outset until completion. As usual with selling a property there were ‘bumps’ along the road but Ben, Liam & Paul were always there for reassurance & advice when required. As I was selling a leasehold property there were additional issues to address and all dealt with highly professionally. I also purchased the same property through them originally so clearly I had an excellent experience with them from both sides of the market.
