Jul 27,2023I left my house to sell, empty, in the hands of the very capable Ben Davey, partner at Burgess, while I returned overseas. He advised precisely what I needed to repair to maximize price, and kept a close eye on the house prior to sale in my absence. In this scary falling market of 2023, Ben and his team were excellent communicators, honest and straightforward, and they guided me towards a successful sale. I feel fortunate that I met Ben, who made what could have been a tense process an easy one. I highly recommend Ben and his team, a very positive experience, and as good a price as possible at the end.

May 17,2023Burgess and Co are a highly professional, friendly, effective, knowledgeable team who are always available and are excellent communicators. When suggesting a selling price for my home, Paul backed up his recommendation with up-to-date research on prices in the area and market conditions and although I asked him to put it on the market at a slightly higher price, his estimate was proven to be realistic. Someone from Burgess and Co contacted me every week until completion, and their daily early morning meetings meant that every staff member had intimate knowledge of the stage of selling and could talk knowledgeably about it if I phoned with a query. While Paul takes the lead on sales, Ben takes over from him once the offer is made. His knowledge of the legal and processing side of selling a house is extensive and he liaises with all involved parties regularly. This means that I, as the seller, was always given up-to-date information, which was very reassuring. Their communication with me, my solicitor, the buyer's solicitor and the buyer smoothed out any hiccups before they became problems. The sale of my home took longer than any of us expected, and I credit Burgess and Co with keeping everything on track. They recognised the opportunity for us to exchange and complete simultaneously and both the buyer and I were very grateful for this. I wish they were the agents involved in the purchase of my new property.
