Nov 03,2023Can not describe how bad of an experience I we have had with this company. From one aupair crashing our car drunk to the next aupair having no clue how to watch children and asking to leave one week after arriving. The company offered us a refund that we lost out on half of what we paid for no service. Then they send a check that was for 60% of that and said they would send the rest if we signed something stating that we can not sue them. Wish I could add the picture of the contract they tried to get me to sign. They also held us to the contract that they provided to us very aggressively. Constantly telling us according to the contract we covered ourselves so that they are never held accountable.

All the resources available have left my mind at ease that we matched with the right Au Pair. Questions I would have never thought to ask yet proved beneficial with making our decision.

Nov 03,2023This process has been so easy with the help of our matching specialist who provided great tips to expedite communication and improve relationship building and our local consultant who gave great feedback on what to expect. We felt like we had many great options and had a hard time initially trying to decide but after talking with many options, it becomes apparent who the best matches are. We are so happy with our experience and decision to go with Cultural Care for our Au Pair. Our biggest complaint is that the website is desperate for an upgrade. There is no home button and when you navigate to certain sections there is no way to get back without retyping the url. Other than that, this has been a great efficient process!

Nov 02,2023The staff at Cultural Care Au Pair is excellent. They are highly responsive and very informative. My issue with the process was the amount of time and energy it took to find an au pair. We weren’t expecting how long it would take and how involved the process was. Also, some of the au pairs online we wanted to interview were not responsive. Others changed their times at the last minute or didn’t respond to us after initially engaging. Finally, some au pairs were very demanding in their requests. We did finally match with an au pair who seems like she will be a really good fit so I’m hoping the initial frustrations were worth it.

Oct 30,2023We have overall had a good experience with Cultural Care. Our LCC is great and responsive whenever we have needed her. We were incredibly disappointed with the “matching specialist” when our au pair left us unexpectedly and we needed to find a new au pair quickly. The matching specialist provided very little support and was basically useless. Everyone else affiliated with the company has been great.

Oct 27,2023Our experience with cultural care so far has been positive through the application and matching process. As a first time host family, our local coordinator has been very helpful. Our au pair does not arrive for another several months so I can't yet speak to that part of the experience.
