Families appreciate being able to schedule up to 45 hours per week and up to 10 hours per day of childcare when they need it.
Very much appreciate the level of customer care shown by Leslie team. This is our third time using Cultural Care, and we are pleased customers!
We had a great experience using Cultural Care, especially as a family that is new to the process. We had a ton of support and everyone is extremely patient, honest and communicative. Highly recommend!
Ugh. Necessary evil I suppose. They provide access to the profile of a lot of au pairs and the search function is very helpful to narrow down options. That is their primary value. Everything else is luck of the draw, a hope and a prayer. Customer service is lacking. We called and emailed to get help when out au pair arrived without an international driver’s license even though we were told she would have one. They ghosted us. Our LCC was underwhelming and discriminatory. She made several statements spewing stereotypes. She discussed negative comments about different groups and we later learned she said the same to another family who was trying to enroll in the program. She ignored our au pair for several months and then made it seem as though she had been reaching out and being ignored. I spoke to her about her lack of engagement and she eventually took ownership and agreed to do more. She did not actually do more and our au pair has not seen her since the first meeting when she arrived. She cancelled the one group event she organized on short notice. Don’t expect support or anything more than the bare minimum. Otherwise your expectations will definitely not be met.
The website is easy to navigate, the host family profile creating is not burdensome, both local coordinator Patricia and the match coordinator Louie very very responsive and active. The host family interview was very good chance to learn about the program. The database of au pair is big and diverse. The matching process was very tedious as it involves interviewing lots of candidates, 30min-60 min per calls, but at the end it was worth it.
Very organized and efficient process, easy user friendly platform to filter and find au pairs, fantastic response time from local coordinator and matching specialist, very professional
Andrea and Jessica are fabulous
We’ve enjoyed using the platform and successfully matched with an Au pair. The only reason I have 4 instead of 5 stars was because the website needs to be a bit easier to use. It seems a bit tired and could use an update. We also felt an app with a iOS interface would be helpful instead of a website.
Smooth and efficient as always. I like CC’s suggestions on au pairs and guidance on what other families typically do.
We’re so happy with CCA. They’ve held our hand through the entire process and been so attentive to our needs.
Helpful reps - website needs work
Everyone has been so easy to talk to and the process went so smoothly.
We love our au pair but cultural care has been zero support for us other than offering a website where we could find and interview au pairs. Our LCC is horrible. Non responsive, sends wrong information and does not provide support for our au pair.
Great Au Par network and amazing customer service and support team. Highly recommend.
My match has been cancelled three times! When both the au pair and myself are sure we want to match with each other. The first time the matching lady said I should “interview more people” and she sent me some more people to see. I told her I had looked at hundreds of people and really want this au pair but she said I needed to see others that she would send me. Then we chose again the same person and she unmatched us again saying when she didn’t feel comfortable with her English when she called to confirm the match - even though the au pair had passed her English interview with cultural care already and we interview her numerous times with no problem. So she made her take another English interview which the au pair passed as well. Now she is saying that we need to agree to pay up to $800 extra because flights have gone up WHEN IT WAS HER THAT DELAYED THIS WHOLE PROCESS FOR WEEKS!! I am in disbelief. My sister has an au pair from cultural care and absolutely this was not a thing she experienced. I am very disappointed.

Oct 26,2023We love the au pair program and honestly think most of the agencies are similar. They are worth the end result, but the process isn't always the most fun. Cultural Care has better and more modern technology, however, it's more pushy and "salesy" than some of the other agencies. They operate in more remote areas, which is helpful, and the au pair candidates are great. It's just a fact that cultural care shows its business cards pretty clearly and are always pushing for "the sale."
