Jan 25,2017I have to say I was a little disappointed. Being a thorough person I check, check and re check things. When the initial booking was made I was quite impressed, but then the problems started. My friend works out of the country and I had to wait for confirmation of things, which held things up, but I found it frustrating waiting for staff at the company to get back to me. I was promised phone calls and emails which didnt happen and resulted in me having to chase things up. My last request was for golf to be booked, this went on for a period of over a week until I got confirmation. In the initial request I asked for a golf buggy to be booked, as we know the resort has limited numbers. I was told on more than one occasion that they had been requested and they were waiting confirmation from the resort. Knowing the resort had apparantley had problems with email, it would have been a simple phone call to make, but this was not done, so when we arrived the hotel was totally unaware of the request. I feel that there is a lack of attention to details and a failure to keep the customer informed.

Dec 14,2016We discovered Peralada thanks to David Sledmere, and having been there for a short break, we definitely wanted to go back... The package with 7 dinners looked initially as both risky and too much of a good thing, but now that we experienced the quality (both food and wine, and service) of all the restaurants on offer we found the package prepared by Elegantgolfresort quite attractive and definitely worth taking the risk. The whole booking process, done by David Jordan, went very smooth indeed and we are very much looking forward to getting there - it is still 9 months to go... The early booking discount was very much appreciated although we also hope for a freebie, namely a late afternoon ("twilight") round of golf on the day of our arrival...

He answered fully all the questions and queries we raised and gave us the confidence to go forward and book an early February 2017 holiday at this destination. We cannot wait to get there!
