Raanan is very kind & helpful
I paid my money and was assigned Danielle Deans, but she only found me 1 placement in my area, and the other ones she offered me were on the other side of the country. I haven’t heard from them in over a month, they’ll just take your money and leave.
I had a pretty mixed experience... I found that my attendance at online lessons was never recorded leading to me being threatened with further action which I felt was a little unfair. My DE also changed a lot (I think I had 5 or 6 in total) during my course which was quite stressful as I never knew who to email. However, my last DE - Amiee Ninkovic - was lovely and always got things back to me as fast as she could, the EPA manager Raanan Firmin was also excellent and got my EPA completed in under a month! All in all, I am glad I went with Harriet Ellis as they did help my qualify quickly.
I have had a very mixed experience with Harriet Ellis but my tutor, Emily and my last DE, Lucy were brilliant! Also, going through all the EPA stuff can be daunting but Raanan was so helpful and patient and really made the whole experience less stressful. Thank you, Raanan!
Currently working for Harriet Ellis as a dental educationalist, I also completed the CAVA qualification with them back in 2023. Angela my tutor on the CAVA course was amazing, so supportive and accommodating throughout, she is part of the reason I am now working for Harriet Ellis as she gave them good feedback on my work - so huge thanks to her! Since working for Harriet Ellis, my line manager Aimee has been an angel and always been there to help me if needed. The lead IQA Elaine is lovely, and my assigned IQA Anna is also super helpful. David & Hadley have been great from the very beginning, I appreciate their honesty and general approach in improving my performance in the role. They have a strong standpoint that if you need help, then all you need to do is ask and so far this has always been provided to me. Overall I’m more than satisfied in my role at Harriet Ellis, being an assessor has been my goal for many years now and they have made that a reality, which I’m very grateful for.
You will notice something from the recent posts from employees, they all work remotely. Inside head office it is a furniss, it's an absolute mess of a company. The owner Hadley ruins everybody's mood and makes everyone feel on edge. The managers around him all bow to his every command and are so scared they don't say anything even if he is wrong. So do yourself a favour and DONT WORK HERE. One really small man will ruin your whole mindset, he is not worthy of the power he believes he has.
As a current employee of Harriet Ellis, I want to share my experience. I started my assessor journey by completing the CAVA qualification with Harriet Ellis. During this time, I was very impressed by the ease of the whole process, and the excellent content provided. My tutor was fantastic and I qualified in a shorter time frame than I initially expected. Following this, I now have the pleasure of working as a Dental Educationalist for Harriet Ellis and I love my role. The company is supportive, all levels of management are approachable and hands-on, and as shown with a recent welfare day off given to all staff, they care about their employees. I am part of a great team and feel we all work well together which can be difficult to achieve when a lot of staff work remotely. Our workload, of course, comes with its challenges as with any role, but all of the staff I have met, and work with regularly, care about our apprentices, and we all play our part in supporting them to achieve. I couldn't recommend Harriet Ellis more.
I started off doing the CAVA course through Harriet Ellis. The tutor Angela was fabulous. I have worked with Harriet Ellis as a DE for a year and a half now, and the support I have received since starting this role has been amazing. The DE team is a great group and we all support each other. There is great communication between the head office and everyone who works remotely. My line manager Aimee, and IQA Elaine are superb, nothing is ever too much trouble. I must also mention Hadley and David, who I am especially fond of. Both are always at the end of the phone when needed and will do anything to help and support me.
I very rarely leave reviews but this time I felt like telling the word how amazing Harriet Ellis is. From start to finish, professional team and real support from everybody- at any time of the day ! even customer service would always respond to my call or request almost immediately. Big thank you to Raanan Firmin- you are going above and beyond the call of duty and Trudie Dawson- you are an absolute inspiration ! Thank you all, it's been a real pleasure.
Not the recruitment firm you think you’d like to work. In fact the ratio between staff leaving and staying .. well put it this way The director gets trigger happy to actually fire people without reasonable cause . It’s like an addiction. And when you try to actually fight your own cause he has some narcissistic behaviour towards you. All my colleagues who left all said the same thing .. he preys on staff and feeds them false hopes then lets them go . Look at the way he spoke to Amy on that review . Wow ! It’s like working in a boiler room your cold calling clients and then getting watched at the same . It’s like you got Martha watching you and you’re the baby reindeer Sent from IPhone
DO NOT WORK HERE !!! As a former employee and seeing the previous reviews being putting up I do also want to have a say on how the working environment was when I was working at Harriet Ellis. I always had a positive attitude to working, I would always be in half an hour before my shift started and I was extremely reliable. I was improving so much and proving that I was hard worker that wanted to improve my skills. My numbers each week were getting better and I took all of the feedback given and implamented all of it into my work. I was unfairly dismissed without any warning. There was no real reason for my dismissal so it come as a shock to me and everyone else. He did also use to come over to my desk and make me feel horribly about myself in-front of my colleagues. It’s almost like he enjoyed embarrassing his staff. The owner of Harriet Ellis has put many employees in the same position as me and reading his extremely unprofessional reply to one of he ex employees is really angering as everything she was saying is correct and the fact that he is trying to cover up how horribly he treats his staff is really not on. Enough is enough. I never personally worked with Amy Day but I can believe that she was by no means manipulating the truth. I’m glad finally people have chosen to speak up as this man cannot keep getting away with it! If you don’t want staff to put bad reviews on your page, then you need to start ensuring that you’re treating your staff right. Not everyone will keep silent. Take this with a pinch of salt and start blaming yourself Hadley because this has all happened because of you and your actions.
They make you feel like you’re doing great . But the geeza who runs the firm is whacko . The moment you ask for help you get undermined . It’s not a recruitment firm more like a boiler room. Underpaid . Unrealistic targets . This ain’t malicious mr silver . So don’t hyped to me . Your staff members dropping like flies one by one because of your behabio towards them . You compare new staff members to people who have been in the business for many years . Are you pathetic ?
Having Jenny Kelly as my educationalist towards the end of my programme where I was falling behind and losing hope of qualifying due to my previous educationalists, really helped me and pushed me towards my EPA. Ranaan Firmin also was very helpful with my EPA and made the process very easy for me!
Lauren Frampton becoming my dental educationalist was the best thing that has happened in my apprenticeship journey. She has been an absolute star and has done nothing but motivate me and support me reaching the end of my course. I appreciate everything you’ve done for me Lauren, I definitely wouldn’t have been able to do this without you!
Harriet Ellis training group is the worst. They help in nothing at all. Initially, they were helpful until I finished paying the fee. - 0 help in training. - 0 help to find job. - 0 help for exams. - Total Money focused. - Super expensive. As if you fail once you will have to pay £750 everytime. Whereas, other institutes, you just need to pay £150 or even lower. So this institute is a total ripoff. Wont recommend to anyone not even my enemies.
Leah Mancktelow helped guide me and support me with my career progression. She was able to successfully advise me where I was able to understand the steps I needed to complete within my progression. I had asked and enquired about a few things within regards of interviews and post-18 career and Leah was able to advise me efficiently which is much appreciated and am very thankful for.
So helpful and great communication.
Special mention to Natasha Starr and Ranaan Firmin they have been great throughout my dental nursing apprenticeship. Thank you both! :)
Lauren Frampton became my dental educationalist towards the end of my studies. I was falling behind and she was exactly what i needed to get back on track. She provided excellent support and motivation, great advice and good communication, not only this but she is also a lovely person! This all made completing my portfolio a lot easier. She kept my spirits high throughout and I would like to thank Lauren for all of this! It was great to meet and work with her.

Jul 08,2024I want to give a huge thanks to Harriet Ellis for all the support during my apprenticeship. Emily Turner was always there for me, letting me know I could call her whenever I needed help, no matter the time. Her dedication made the entire learning process much smoother. Raanan was incredibly patient with me during the examination process. Towards the end, Halima and her team were amazing in helping me revise for my exam. They provided targeted revision sessions that really made a difference. The comprehensive support and genuine care from everyone at Harriet Ellis have left me feeling totally prepared and confident as I move forward in my career. I couldn’t have asked for a better training provider. Thank you alll!!
