Been using home fair blinds for the past 20 years and after 3 very disappointing let downs and speaking to staff that have no customer service skills whatsoever I will NEVER USE AND NEVER RECOMMEND them again. My story is too long so I won’t bore you but what a shower of incompetent staff. Paul the manager (I think) Needs to get a grip on what staff do what!!!!! He looked and confirmed my measure appointments said it was Elliott (if I remember rightly) that would be coming, I’ll ring him he said!! 10 minutes later I get a call to say ohhhhhh sorry Elliot fits blinds not measures, did you not know that when you confirmed my appt. So after a day off work and an all day wait at 16.50 I was advised nobody was coming!!! Absolutely rubbish set up. I’ve happily used another company who’s service is amazing, so thank Home fair for enabling me to find a decent company to deal with 👍
BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! I’d give zero rating if I could, to match the still-missing blind in my loft bedroom despite 3 x measure visits by this company. The 1 x blind that has been fitted is so poor that the last rep who measured admitted he’d be angry too. As for customer service - it’s an utter joke - so far no progress made - will now be fighting for a full refund! BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY - poor measuring, ill fitting blinds, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and no quick remedy. Use at your own risk.
Paul was the fitter who fitted the blinds quickly and efficiently. No issues with them, just what we wanted.
Very bad customer service still no blinds 10 weeks later after two attempted fitting dates and problems with the blinds not being measured correctly and holes in the fabric. Avoid at all costs.
From ordering in shop to measuring and fitting,everything was very straightforward.All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.As an elderly woman living alone getting jobs done can be stressful but I could highly recommend Homefair Blinds to anyone
Aftersales service is disgusting! My Mother in law had new conservatory blinds and was initially very happy. However, after reporting the blinds needed a slight adjustment just after fitting to avoid being ripped down. We are now more than 8 weeks on and no further forward. After 4 visits back to the shop and several calls we were told we were booked in and no one came. Again another visit to the shop then I rang their head office. I managed to speak to someone called Darren on June 1st who booked us in for today 21/6 but said he would call me back that day and try to get the visit brought forward. I was happy with that and worst case I knew they would be there on the 21st as he told me we were booked in. Well today is the 21st and guess what, surprise surprise no one turned up! I’d better get a response I’m furious. Would not recommend in the slightest!
We have used Homefair for many years as have always been happy with the products, price and the level of service. So when needing new blinds for our new home we automatically went back to them. We did have a slight issue this time where as I needed to contact customer services. (The fitter had accidentally dropped his drill causing a slight bit of damage to our new flooring). It was a total accident but he rang the office and explained what had happened, took photos and apologised several times. I didnt hear anything for a few days so started to chase it up which at the time was annoying. I then spoke to Steven in customer services who I have to say was brilliant from start to finish. He kept us informed almost daily, visited us to look at the damage himself and then worked with us to fix it. Despite having to make a couple of initial calls we are now very happy with the oucome. Needless to say we will return to homefair in the future and will continue to recommend them.

We ordered our blinds in jan 23 and had a bit of a wait which was expected. The picking and buying process was easy, we chose venetian downstairs and blackout rollers for upstairs. The guy who came out to measure was lovely. Fast forward a few months and the guy came out to fit our blinds. Another lovely guy but he had forgotten one of our blinds and another didn’t fit. We weren’t giving a time frame for when this would be rectified. But we waited and made a few phone calls to chase it up. Another guy came to fit the blind that hadn’t fit originally and again forgot our missing blind. This was then delivered and fitted the following day. We love our downstairs blinds! However the upstairs blackout blinds aren’t great at all. Now the summer months are here they let in so much light so we are really disappointed with them. Overall decent service despite a bit of a chew on. And blinds are lovely but wouldn’t recommend for blackouts
Great company. From going into store at Cramlington and talking to Glynis. Arrange for Simon to come out and messure up. Fitted my blinds today by 2 lovely guys. All done in 2 weeks. I would recommend to anyone
After recently making a purchase and fitting of full house of blinds, one of the blinds “dropped” on one side, this was reported to the shop and we were asked to send a picture of the problem to confirm. We received an email reply to say this had been passed on to their “customer care department”and someone from there would be in touch, this is now 9 days later and no one has even bothered to contact us regarding this problem, Shocking lack of concern from them now that they have received payment ( over £1100.) would not use or recommend this company ever again.
From the minute we made contact with the Homefair team we have excellent service, quality and value for money. We couldn’t be happier.
Customer service is shockingly poor, very bad communication starting from the appointment and can't even get a quote. Don't waste your time with this company
Had some pvc venetian blinds fitted, the ends of the blinds are roughly cut on bedroom and Kicthen blinds, I was giving two replacement blinds however many weeks for to be acknowledged then these replacement blinds arrived the same conditions and with one latt missing on the Kicthen blind so there is now a gap at the bottom, another blind pvc blind was put up lob-sided. The blinds them selfs are nice however whoever makes these blinds cannot cut them without causing some rough edge's, for over 100 pound per blind I expect them to be better. I have emailed again regarding the issues however the emails have been ignored I called head office and head office instructed me to email and I have received no reply, If you want PVC blinds I would personally avoid homefair. I also had a vertical blind put up with a wand which was perfect no issues with verticals. Update 24th June 2023 The pvc blinds were fitted incorrectly with smaller screws and screws missing, the fitter never drilled into steal window head, only into plaster board, when weather got hotter the blinds fell down one hit my head extremely heavy blind was in total shock, they did come and refit them same day however extremely dangerous and could of been a lot worse. Still haven’t received email regarding original problem they only came out to make the blinds safe due to a claim could be made.
I had a great experience with this company, all in all 10 out of 10 for contact on the phone, measuring up and fitting, everyone involved was so kind and polite, and I would recommend 100%

Avoid Homefair Blinds The quality of the blinds is appalling. We had them fitted just over a year ago and the kitchen blinds are totally broken - cannot open or close. The bedroom blinds are also faulty too. When emailed for some guidance or support on how we could fix the issue, we were simply dismissed, saying it is out of the guarantee time frame. I understand this policy, however for the amount of money we spent due to being promised high quality, long-lasting blinds when we went to the shop, we would expect the blinds to last over a year or some customer service on how we could fix the matter. Quality clearly isn’t up to scratch and broken blinds a year down the line is acceptable for this company it seems.

Aug 01,2023Great response to an issue by Joanne. With the move of an elderly relative, it looked like we would not have blinds fitted in time which would have been traumatic for my relative. Joanne took a major problem and worked through everything to a significantly improved position of most of the blinds fitted in days....this meant we could maintain the move plan. Many thanks Joanne for all your help :-)
