10 days to I had to deal with this pathetic excuse for a company. To change number over jo one could figure our why. The day I called and cancelled service miraculously turned on and I now have a $56.48 bill because through the time no one in there call center could figure anything out they had me turn the phone on to do this or that. Customer service sucks they talk down to you when you disagree with them. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS CONPANY YO ANYONE, EVER!!!

This company and its phone are probably the worst on the market for seniors, or anyone who is considering them. We've had two Jitterbug Smart phones since 2017. The first phone lasted a year, then just died. So, we called and asked if there were any discounts on new phones and they gave us a hefty discount on a Smart 2. 97 days later it gave us a message that it was "Corrupted". GreatCall said it was 7 days out of warranty so they could not provide another phone unless we purchased another. All the so-called technical help would not get the phone working again. 97 days!!! To top it off, because we cancelled the account only days after making a payment, they do not provide a credit for the 20+ days we have left in the payment period (you pay ahead for future service, not for past service). So, crappy phones and they steal your money if you cancel. Not a "Great" company.

The Jitterbug Smart2 phone has been great during the week I've had it. In my initial call to discuss the phone and the Lively Mobile system I got a sales representative who was so irritating I hung up on her. HOWEVER, after that, every support representative has been terrific. I've used their one-on-one help several times and have gotten 5-star service. The phone itself has passed expectations. It's menus are clear, well-labeled, and very logical. There are some decisions to be made in the background (like in phone settings) that are a little confusing simply because, well, it's technology. GreatCall has done a good job, however, writing short blurbs to explain most of them. The phone is not overloaded with bloatware. The apps were already up-to-date when I got the phone and I didn't have to spend a couple hours updating them before I could use it. For me, the voice typing is important because of limited use of hands. This phone's voice typing has been really, really good, even when I use uncommon words. One weakness originally was the camera button was too hard to press, resulting is blurred pictures. The support rep updated something and it seems to be doing well now. It could use a little more camera stabilization though. Pictures are satisfactory for me, but if someone is a photo perfectionist, they are not the same quality you would find on an Iphone or Samsung that costs hundreds of dollars. I'm very happy with this phone because I can understand it, so I'll use it.

I have only had my smart phone for a week but it seems easy to use, although have not used a few of the functions. I did have to call Great Call for help getting it to accept my wi-fi in my home - they walked me through it and works great now. I do like to size and feel of it and very readable letters and numbers.

.Just so you all know I Love my jitterbug smart 2 phone!!!!....I hear from older people saying on the cell phones they have that they can't get to their Text messages, they have a problem finding things. Not with the jitterbug smart 2. It is all right there on the Home page!! It is really easy to use.It takes Great pictures. Great Call has different plans to chose from to fit your budget. They have a per motion going on right now that you get the first month Free!! You can go to greatcall.com and check it out for yourself. All the information you need is right there. The phone and related service more than meet my expectations. I had some experience with other smart phones but find this one cheaper, much easier to operate and have yet to see any loss of capacities I had with other phones.

My comments are not concerning the benefits or operational qualities of the Flip phone. It is about the quality of GreatCall customer service. The ordering and delivery of the phone was very good, better than I expected and the Gentleman that handled my initial ordering, named Charles was extremely thorough and pleasant. My problem started when, after setting up the phone it didn't work in that the outgoing voice was garbeled. Using the phone we called GreatCall service and was told that they couldn't understand us. Using another phone we called back and was told that some of the phones shipped out of the warehouse was defective and it would take 3-7 days to fix the problem. After several days I called back and was told that it would take 3-10 days to fix. Admittedly I am a very impatient person, so after a couple more days without rectifying the problem I called and told them to cancel my order and requested a return authorization. Directions for return was given and at a cost of $10.00+ I returned they unit as received. When GreatCall made the refund to my Credit Card they deducted a restocking charge of $11.00. My displeasure lies in the fact that they charged me to return a product that never worked and was advertised as having a 30 day return policy. BEWARE

The Jitterbug Flip Phone is all I need! I grew tired of the "new and improved" phones available at convenience stores -- "New" does not make life easier! And I need "easy!" I will never go back to the convenience store phones. I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw the Big Buttons and Easy-to-Read display. The Jitterbug Flip Phone creators obviously incorporated consumer input into their design. I was most impressed by the fact that the screen often displayed the answers to my questions before I even asked them myself! I am 70 years old and don't need "the latest and greatest" technology. "Simple" is brilliant! Thank you.

The Jitterbug Smart phone is truly a product that delivers what it promises. My mother is not tech savvy at all. She has had regular smart phones in the past and quickly became frustrated with them. The Jitterbug smart phone is a Godsend. She was quickly able to master its use and has more confidence in her level of independence! The folks at the Great Call call center are helpful and very professional as well. Great experience!

With my old carrier, every "upgrade" was a massive learning experience! Dial-tones became ring-tones, then, later, alerts or something else. Getting from one function to another was an ever changing litany of more buttons to click with never an explanation.

Easy to set up (deal direct with Great Call). Big buttons and nice screen so I don't need readers. In credible mike; it picked up the dog lapping water across the room. CRYSTAL clear speaker; I can hear clearly after many years of jet engines and gun shots. The only thing I'm not sure about is the ringer (I haven't received a call yet). The bottom line is it's better than my old cell phone. Would buy again.

The Jitterbug was so easy to setup. Great Call has a fantastic user interface online that, truly, other major cell phone brands should adopt. The phone takes a bit to get used to, but our grandmother finds it so easy to use, the buttons are large enough for her to read, and the display is simple enough to learn rather quickly. We would definitely recommend.

I bought this phone for my Mom who is in Memory Care. She has been able to answer calls easily and get her voice mail by simply answering yes. I don't think she would be as successful if she had to push buttons to make calls or get her messages. It took a couple of days but she now checks her phone for missed calls and can call back by just answering yes. I like that you can chose an actual ring tone. Also, the monthly plan is very affordable. So far it's been a great purchase!

GreatCall Medical Alert has the worst customer service known to man. I usually don't take the time to complain about companies but I have to warn other potential customers to definitely avoid them. For your Medical Alert service, make sure to use LifeStation which I have switched to. Check their reviews and you will see why so many people prefer LIfeStation to GreatCall!! Due to their mistakes they are trying to bill me a couple of extra months when the service was not even connected. A supervisor by the name of David is threatening calls from collection services over $51 that I can verify their service was not even connected...I will make sure that they will pay more than $51 in bad publicity!!!! Plus the other reason I switched to LifeStation is that GreatCall does not have an emergency pendant/help button that will hold a battery charge for over 24 hours and LIfeStation easily beats that with a battery that lasts 4 YEARS!!! AVOID GREATCALL MEDICAL ALERT

I find the phone to be very "sluggish." It takes too long to come on and to go from one function to another. It is also prone to "flipping away" from the screen I am using so that I have to begin again. I use the phone only as an emergency phone.

Very simple and easy-to-use. I bought this for my Mom as her first smartphone. A key feature for me was the *5Star button for emergencies, since she is 88 years old and lives on her own. There was certainly a learning curve, but, after a couple of months, she can handle the basics. I love that it is an Android that can be customized with apps to do so many things!

This product has been an excellent choice for our 91 yr old mother..she is able to continue to live on her own safely and has given us peace of mind knowing she has a way to get help quickly if needed. The only con is the size of the device, mom would have liked it to be smaller. She likes to have what she wears stylish...she used a chain she had instead of the leather type necklace that came with the device.
