Nevada Music is an award winning music store, located in Portsmouth, UK. We stock a huge range of guitars, keyboards, drums, amplifiers, studio, PA and DJ equipment. Our store is just a couple of minutes from the M27 and we have plenty of free parking outside. With over 45 years in the business, we've got bigger by being better. All of the staff at Nevada take personal pride in providing the best customer service possible.

Feb 13,2016Rung up Nevada on Saturday to say I wanted to buy the guitar but I'd found it £10 cheaper on another website, Nevada matched the price, so I ordered the guitar that day and it arrived on Monday. Super quick delivery and the guitar sounds amazing.

Feb 11,2016I always shop here for anything I need!!! They always seem to go the extra mile! I had one member of staff helping me test wether a guitar cab 4x10 would fit in my car in the rain!! In the end we decided to try and put the roof down to put it on the back seats!!! This is the best and most helpful music store around! (I have been to many!!) They also reward loyal customers! I got £80 off my last purchase just for being loyal! So overall 100% a store worth checking out! 5* from me!!!

Jan 25,2016Over the past few months I have purchased several guitars and effects pedals from Nevada. The one thing that has stood out is the complete lack of interest in the customers by the guys behind the counter. Happy to sit chatting and not even make eye contact with customers stood at the counter. On my last visit to buy a pedal, I deliberately stood at the part of the counter nearer the guitar showroom, just to see if either of the two guys stood chatting would come over, as I wasn't stood leaning on the counter for any other reason than to be served. It took the two guys 11 minutes to talk to me, after they had finished chatting, purely because someone else came up to the counter and rather than be greeted had to say 'Excuse me, is there any chance I could get some help'. At this point, one guy left to help and the other was leaving the counter when passing me said 'Are you after something?' To which I replied, 'Yes! Serving' This isn't isolated either, it's the only shop I know that you have to get the attention of the guys chatting in order to get served. I asked a few weeks earlier if I could try an amp, 30 minutes before closing and the guy kept looking at the clock, then me, then the clock, then me and said 'We close soon, how long will you be?' not the most professional group of staff!
