Sep 16,2021First package was 72 hours late outside of the 48 hour quoted "safe" window for a total of 120 hours. Team was willing to send out another package with an "Express" shipment. Second package was still 24 hours late outside of the "safe" 48 hour window for transit. Basically still came a day late even though express shipping was used. No dry Ice left and if it had gone even one more hour would have all been defrosted. It's too bad that FedEx delivery quality standards are not as promised. Most of the time, lucky if they don't just drop it in the road and leave. I've asked trainer Food to stop using FedEx.

Sep 12,2021I love all the protein items but the veggies for the most part are mushy and flavorless. I use several paper towels to soak up the water on my plate before I open the protein bag.. My daughter snips a small hole in the corner of the bag and holes it over the sink to drain the water. I absolutely love the omelets with bacon, love the new addition of fish (new to me). The spicy chicken tenders are very delicious.

Sep 07,2021I've followed the PTF program on and off for several years. The program is simple to follow and works if you stick with it. The food is easy to prepare and tasty. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because, on two occasions, items were omitted from my order which required follow up on my part. But customer service promptly responded and shipped the missing items when I alerted them to this. Seems like their should be better quality control to avoid this. I suggest checking your order when you receive it to make sure your order is complete.

Sep 07,2021If I could give them a zero I would. Two orders came very late, ice melted and food thawed. The second one was also smelly. That was the most recent and the very last. There won’t be anymore coming to this address.

Sep 01,2021I was a long-time customer but my recent order was terrible. The first order arrived two days late, the food was defrosted and the packaging on the food was open so the contents spilled all over. PTF sent a replacement order at no charge. This time it arrived one day late, which caused me to miss going out of town because I had to wait around for the delivery. Luckily it was still frozen this time but 15 packages were open and 6 items were missing. When I contacted customer service asking for a refund, they shorted me about $11 and when I asked where they came up with their calculation, they ignored me. I will never order from this company again. I have felt the quality has been declining over the years but this was the absolute worst experience.

Sep 01,2021We are primarily using personal trainer food for our elderly parents. Great variety without having to spend time cooking multiple items (oh and then wash pots and pans) and the portions are perfect and fill them up. Add a salad, fruit or cottage cheese and it's the perfect meal. I'm using the burger patty, prime rib fajitas and teriyaki chicken for quick tacos. I'm in California and it's been hot. The food ships via ground transportation and we have had some local shipping issues with a major carrier; PTF has made it right! If you are on the west coast just call after your order and request extra dry ice.

Aug 31,2021Like the food and easy to follow but the results take time to appear. Inches come off after I'm done and therefore discouraging me to finish. Need to hang in and hold my breath & figures crossed

Aug 30,2021I hadn't previously experienced issues with any order. My last order was received one day later than expected/scheduled. Since it's 100 degrees, the dry ice had melted and the food was not frozen. I contacted PTF, and my order was replaced without question. Great customer service!

Aug 24,2021I tried to get food from you twice both times the food was delayed by Fed Ex. I spoke with customer service and was told that since the pandemic you've had some delayes from the carrier. I would think if since this is to be consumed by humans you would over night the product instead of taking a change on such delays. My 1st package I received was completely thawed. I refused to eat it. This was all happening while we were experiencing upper 90 degree heat. Not a good look for a 1st time customer.
