Slomin’s also offers heating oil delivery, oil burner installation and repair, and gas and AC maintenance and repair in the Northeast.

Aug 25,2024The technician was great. However, the dispatcher and the technician’s supervisor never informed us that the technician would return so very late the following day! We called in 4 times to find out when the tech was to return. We never received an accurate response! Overall, the tech arrived around 2:30pm finished up before we had to leave for our next appointment.

Aug 23,2024If I could give them a zero I would! We had the standard security system for years and decided to upgrade to having cameras. We had to wait for an installation appointment because they don't do weekends so I had to arrange to take time off of work. They showed up at 10:00 am and were here until after 5:00. When everything was installed, the guy provided a very quick overview lasting maybe 5 minutes and was gone. He left no documentation on how to work the system or how to trouble shoot. His advice was to 'just play around with it'. No matter what we did, the system never worked right. We went back and forth over the phone about what I should try and each time they stated they don't come back out to the house unless there is a mechanical problem and it sounded like a software issue to them. For each of those calls, I would navigate through their convoluted voicemail and then wait on hold for long periods of time. Finally, I got them to come to the house. The guy shows up at 9:00 am and was here for 5 hours but was unable to resolve the issue. He says to call and reschedule, that maybe a different technician would be able to resolve. Meanwhile, we're paying the full monthly as if the entire system is up and running perfectly. I rescheduled that appointment and get an email confirmation that the service is schedule but they never show up. I call wait on hold for over 5 minutes and then they say "there's nothing on the schedule". I ask for some sort of compensation for the MAJOR inconvenience and the fact that the service has not worked properly since it was installed and was told I needed to talk with a supervisor. I was on hold for that for over 10 minutes. All total for that call, I was connected to Slomins for over 30 minutes - most of which I was on hold, They were very quick to come to my house to sign us up as a new camera customer and charged us a large installation and camera fee, and take our full monthly payment but now to get service to make it work right, I get nothing but a run around and long wait times on hold and promises to call me back that never happen.
