From when the salesman arrived he didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. The surveyor arrived bang on time, and the fitter did a first class job. I would be very happy to recommend Smith's.
Although the window and bifold are very nice, I did have some issues along the way. I was quoted with discount a price on my bifold for four panels. I then decided to go for 3 panel's and was told by salesperson and surveyor it would be roughy £1000 cheaper. When I came to confirm the order I didn't get the money off because management said they already gave me a huge discount (as did other big companies). I felt I was mis-sold a product under false pretences and left in a difficult situation. I had already declined other companies and to start all over again would just take too long. On the day of installation I was kept waiting for a few hours, until I called myself to find out why the delay. When the engineers came they did a very good job and quickly too, especially Lawrence who was very friendly. Dean in the office was also very apologetic and friendly too. I would use them again as the products are very good and the timeline is much quicker than other big companies.

Couldn’t fault the service, fitted windows back and front within 2 days by just the one fitter and with the minimum fuss. Highly recommend to anyone wishing to have new windows fitted.
Good value and timely
Very pleased with conservatory. The quality and workmanship was good. The fitters were courteous and cleared up after themselves. The only negative was the time it took between each trade which may have been due to the backlog caused by the pandemic. Would recommend.
Be very careful with this company after a very poor experience I’m in the process of complaining to the fair trade authorities as I run out of options Had a a request to remove my complaint and I’m sure they would love for me to remove it. They still have 1000 of my money thanks to a smooth talking sales man which I will probably get nothing for and never see again Avoid this company.

Not sure what more I can add to my previous review as I would have thought Smiths would have all the correspondence we have had over the years On the 20th April 2021 I sent you a picture of the failed sealed unit. On the 18th of May you replied stating that as it was of aeshetic nature you could not address the matter due to the pandemic. Two months later on the 15th July2021 you stated that owing to the age of the goods you would not replace the unit under the guarantee. I have stated to you previously that I have a 10yr guarantee under your terms and conditions I have uploaded these to you in January 2019 when you said that I only had a 5yr guarantee, you accepted this and change the unit Now when the units are 8yrs and 9 months old you are saying that the cause is fare wear and tear and you will not replace under guarantee. I am disappointed that I have to write this review but from previous reviews I noticed that people have had very similar problems. I do hope that you will once again as I have previously ask that you will sort this problem
Not a perfect experience but definitely a five star one. We are delighted with the change the windows and doors have made to our home, delighted with the lads who came to install them and the salesman. Why not perfect? There were the things that can derail any home improvement, delays and a snag to be fixed. Everything was, however, resolved quickly and smoothly. I would definitely return to Smith's for future work.
We had 11 'blown' windows replaced. The price was fair and the service excellent. I would use them again, so much in fact that 2 windows I missed originally we are having replaced by them as well.
Had a front door fitted which was apparently a bit of a 'tough' job, Scott came round and was really helpful and very polite and so was Lawrence whom had to come twice afterwards to level the door & change the handle ('delivered from factory with wrong handle'). Unfortunately there was some damage caused to my door during the install where it wasn't leveled correctly which means it rubbed leaving damage which they cannot now fix bar cover over with paint which has now rubbed off due to the door brushes. There is 'nothing' else that can be done due to this being part of the door. A huge shame to spend thousands to immediately have damage to a new purchase. Overall all staff since the measurements & fitting have been very polite. Kindly supported a 'survey' on Friday and asked if I'd leave a review (which I agreed) only to then leave for a holiday and get chased for not completing by the Monday.
The fitter arrived on time, polite and helpfully explained the procedure for fitting the new door snd replacement window cassette. He was very tidy and cleaned up after he had completed the job.
From sales, through survey, installation and to after-sales, we found everyone at Smiths to be friendly, experienced and efficient. We would certainly recommend their services. Pleased to be able to support a local company.

On a whole work was carried out to a high standard, only gripes were that they left a little bit of rubbish behind, and I think a bit of extra trim could have been applied to make the finish perfect. But on the whole workmen were prompt, tidy and polite , happy with finished product

Oct 13,2021Purchased French doors and had them installed in 2019. Luckily my partner was at home while they were being installed otherwise I am sure they would have been left without edges between the walls and not straight! The door has dropped once already but they did come out and fix quickly - hence the 2 star rating! NOW recently the damp beads inside have spilled out between the glass in the door, and having called them to discuss, get told to fill out the form on their website - I have done this 3 times so far and have yet to receive a call or email.....yet, they are more than happy to call me 101 times to sell me more things on my home. Therefore to say there is NO customer service when you have an issue ** I emailed my response to your company on 16th October and am still waiting for someone to respond. I have asked for a copy of the email you supposedly sent to me; there is also a split in the seal - manf fault not mine, along with further photo. 26th Oct you want more information from Trust Pilot?!?! what more do you need to respond to me.
