Feb 24,2025Had the Octopus smart meter fitted today, electric only. I have been avoiding it to be honest, still the old teleswitch will no longer be supported so I dont get a choice. Had a nice guy called Lloyd Madamba turn up. Got on with everything nicely and cleanly. Put up with me watching and being a pain too. Good job , tidy, professional and polite. *****

Feb 21,2025I've had a smart installed today by a lovely chap called K Jordan, extremely helpful and also reassured me in regards too using the smart meter. So, time will tell whether or not the smart meter was a good choice, but going off the engineer, I think it's going to a positive.

Feb 21,2025Have had this problem for a long time now. With many gas and heating engineers that came to look at the issue. Not sure these particular workers cared, loved their job or just simply baffled by the issue but they never managed to sorted the problem. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Mr Warren wright who came out to look at the issue. MR wright was very apologetic that I’ve waited so long ,pleasant, reassuring and very professional. Mr Wright is very much in tune with his job and knew exactly what he was doing. With in no time the problem was fixed. My gas and heating is now back on and it is a massive relief for me. This young man Mr warren wright is by far credit a huge credit to his company EDF. I cannot thank him enough and deeply show my approbation to him and to EDF for sending if not by far but one of their best employees. Thank you warren your a gem

Feb 17,2025We had our smart meter installed today by DEAN BOWEN. Very professional and friendly throughout. Explained the process and warned me prior to the electric being turned off incase I was using it. Once installed was given instructions on the smart meter. Delighted with the service. 5*

Feb 15,2025The engineer K Jordan arrived on time and explained what he was going to do. He turned off the gas boiler and tested the polarity of the electricity mains to make sure all was correct before he started. When he was finished he explained about the IHD and how to use it.

Feb 25,2025Chris rang and left a message to let me know he was on his way and what ETA would be. Very friendly and explained everything that he was doing. After jobs where completed, made sure I knew how to use new smart meter, where to keep carbon monoxide alarm, safety advice and who to call if needed.
