Jan 22,2025My mum made the appt with Scottish Power to get a smart meter fitted after they contacted her as she has an RTS meter. They outsourced the work to Providor. Mum is currently in a hospice where I am everyday. My husband travelled 100 miles to be in the house between 2 and 6 for the engineer. Providor phoned at 4pm to say he wasn't coming and the next appt was in a month. I had no choice but to rebook and was told I could have any time slot so I booked the morning. Conformation has just arrived - and it is for the afternoon. Terrible company and even worse customer service.Beware.

He was very friendly and professional, clearly explained the process, switched the meters quickly with minimal disruption, and showed me how to use the new energy monitor!

Jan 27,2025Dean Bowen and his colleague The who visited to carry out the meter swaps were extremely professional, timely, considerate and communicative on what they were going to do. Advised when first meter was completed so we had power back. Then what they had done and that everything was working correctly. Went through the installation and the paperwork.
