I am writing about the fantastic help and service I have received from Adam Dryden during my recent purchase of two gas fires. After searching for several days to find a company to buy the fires from, I eventually chose the Gas Superstore and I am so glad that I did: In addition to buying them for a competitive price, I also received 5 Star Customer Service from Adam. Throughout the negotiations over several days, I telephoned and emailed Adam a number of times. Adam was brilliant from the initial query onwards. When I eventually decided on which fires to buy, I then changed my mind, but despite this, Adam remained patient and kind. Adam was true to his word; on the occasions he said he would email or phone me, he always kept his promise and whilst my order was being processed, he kept me fully informed right up until delivery on 8th December 2014. Adam is very competent and friendly and has fantastic knowledge of the products. This great buying experience has resulted in me having confidence in the company and I would have no hesitation in buying other appliances in the future and recommending The Gas Superstore to other people. I have written to enquire if the company operates an Employee Award Scheme because if it does, I have nominated Adam because I believe he should be rewarded for the exceptionally high level of customer service I have received from him. I have also asked the company to pass on my sincere thanks and appreciation to him. I truly believe The Gas Superstore are very fortunate indeed to have Adam working for them.

Terrible! Never pick up the phone.I rang 6 times and each time waited for 4-9mins for someone to pick the phone up.they didn't get it delivered when it was scheduled and we wasted an entire day waiting.they didn't ring to say they were not coming.they didn't know where the order was and didn't ring me back so I ended up having to keep ringing them.we haven't had cooking facilities for 2 weeks as a result
I ordered a gas cooker.I specifically chose one that said 'in stock' as opposed to one that said 'available to order'.I chose delivery for 6th dec.I was contacted on 5th to say I would not have cooker as when it docked it was put into quarantine and delivery would now be 15th.I was then told it wouldn't be available until January.Explanations for the 'in stock' were just apologies that it shouldn't be showing that on website.I chose another cooker which said 'in stock' only to be told the last one had been sold half an hour ago.I requested a refund and contacted [external reference] who said that their 'in stock' really meant that they had it 'in stock'.They had one left.I ordered it on monday 8th and it was delivered on thurs 11th.I was texted the night before and given an hour time slot.They delivered, job done. I have since looked on fires-cookers website and they still have the cookers as in stock and apparently can deliver on 20th of dec.Don't believe a word of it!!!
The price of my dryer was the best I found on the internet The choice of delivery times was one of the best I've seen without having to pay extra. The follow up emails were fast and informative.

Ordered a cooker and the day before delivery at the last possible moment, received a telephone message saying order had been delayed. Rang back but of course no answer. Very poor service, company obviously knew there was an issue due to stock and left it to the last possible minute to inform me knowing when I rang back, no chance of anyone answering.
After searching the Internet for a flavel gas fire ,I came across fires and cookers not only where they one of the cheapest but as I ordered my fire late in the evening and they deliverd the next day .the driver even phoned me to tell me he was on his way to drop off my fire. Excellent service I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who's looking to purchase a fire or cooker.

Dishwasher ordered Friday morning, delivered Saturday morning. Text message sent indicating hour delivery slot. Reason for choosing this company no hidden delivery charges at checkout!! Excellent service 5*
Purchased a CDA Gas hob from them, whilst it was at a good price and delivered in good time, that is where the good experience ended. The hob arrived damaged and the company was notified immediately, I was talked round to allowing the damaged part to be replaced (instead of replacement), however they initially wanted me to take apart the hob and put the part in myself, being gas I wasn't prepared to do that they eventually said they would sort out an engineer to fit the part, 2 weeks later I still hadn't heard anything until 3 rubber gaskets (nothing to do with the damaged part) arrived by post, I contacted the Gas superstore who were very apologetic and said they would contact the manufacturer who said it would be another 14 days before they could come out, due to this I asked for a replacement but was told they didn't have any and it would be a further 6 weeks ! I have asked for a refund as the alternative they offered was more money. Very poor quality of service. AVOID like the plague.
Really impressed with their customer service. Item was delivered on my chosen day and Mike, the delivery driver, kept me updated about delivery time. He even text to say he was less than 5 minutes away but was caught up at traffic lights. I would recommend them.
Great price & prompt delivery, no problems with cooker so far, purchased in September.
I made my order the night before and my item was brought to me the next day no problems no hassle was fantastic service and will be buying again from them
After 10 days I am still waiting waiting for the fixing pack of screws and Allen key to be able to fix on the 90cm long towel rail. 2 x phone calls to the retailer has not produced the missing items so far, so I would only rate after sales service as 1/10. The Stoves cooker looks great in the kitchen, especially so because of its colour "Hot Jalapeno", which makes it a focal point.

Dec 18,20141st class delivery,wrong fire due to Flavel suppliers,not fault of Gas Superstore,after a few phone calls a new fret sent, sadly wrong one,we then sent photographs of the exact fret first ordered late Oct, we FINALLY got the correct fret for the fire ordered delivered to us Friday 12th Dec. was very frustrating all this waiting and having to make alot of contact with Gas Superstore, which we felt the staff we spoke to didn't seem to know the problem and had to repeat to each one spoken to what was wrong,eventually got it all sorted with John. At the end of this saga happy with our chosen fire.
