Feb 14,2025I have had a very severe prescription since I was 15 and heavily relied on contact lens and glasses. This level of short sited ness can have a severe impact on your everyday life and I found that over the last couple of years the support from local opticians was poor. I visited Stoneygate Eye Hospital and they suggested Lens Replacement Surgery which I have now had in both eyes. It is nothing short of LIFE CHANGING. The facilities were all very state of the art, the staff were very friendly especially Ruby who cared for me before and after both procedures, she was so kind and thoughtful, a real gem!! I can't recommend the the care I have received enough.

Jan 22,2025My cataract surgery in the right eye at The Stoneygate Eye Hospital was just as smooth and reassuring as the first one. Your team, especially consultant Raghavan Sampath and nurse Emerald, provided the compassionate care and support I needed. I felt very comfortable and highly satisfied on both visits. I do not have enough words to express the amazing transformation in my eyes. I am now so happy as a result of clearer vision!

I chose the Stoneygate Eye Hospital because I had researched the records and reputations of local eye surgeons, and I knew that I could choose one of the best surgeons there. The one who did my operation was extremely thorough and careful, and everything went perfectly to plan. I now have nearly 20/20 vision in what was a badly deteriorating

Aug 01,2024I had cataract surgery carried out recently at Stoneygate Eye Hospital. I’m not ashamed to admit, I was terrified. From the moment I stepped into Reception to the time I left, I could not have asked for anything better. Everyone was amazing. So helpful and reassuring. It was a painless procedure and the nursing staff were lovely. One even held my hand (at my request) whilst the procedure was carried out. A huge thank you to all those involved with my treatment.

Jul 11,2024After some eye trauma I took my daughter here last December. Mr Savant was so thorough, caring and extremely knowledgeable in his field. He began treatment straight away and her condition improved in a matter of days. He has seen her for check ups since and continued to care for her in an outstanding way. Not only is the care exceptional but it is given in beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend this hospital - they diagnosed and helped my daughter when others couldn’t. Our last visit was April this year and we will be returning again in August.

Apr 13,2024Having had my first successful right eye cataract operation just before the pandemic period, I was informed by my optician that the left eye would require some attention in approximately 2 years. I visited my opticians for a test and got referred to Stonegate Eye Hospital again. They contacted me to discuss the dated and I requested for Mr. Sampath to perform the 2nd eye as I was very pleased with his expertise previously. Thank you Mr Sampath for your professional and efficient service for the second time as it all went well with no issues and worry. Thanks to his team, who were very polite and informative and monitoring all the way talking through the procedure and finally said over and done and directed me to the recovery area. Thanks to everyone one in the reception. I will not hesitate to recommend all who needs your service

You need the best vision possible in your later years to enjoy life to the full. SEH gave me that opportunity with its totally professional service. Aug 07,2023Having attended The Stoneygate Eye Hospital for Refractive Lens Exchange in both eyes I can honestly say it has changed my life. No more frustration with wearing glasses or contact lenses. I didn't know what to expect from the procedure and was very surprised with a) how little time the actual procedure takes and b) virtually no pain during or after. Everything was fully explained to me before the surgery and clear instructions given post op. Mr Sampath was very professional and clearly very popular seeing how busy the hospital is. His staff are lovely and very friendly. Thank you to Penny for recommending us and to Prerna for being kind to me and my wife on both occasions.

Aug 03,2023I had cataract surgery at The Stoneygate Eye Hospital in March 2023 and can honestly say that the whole experience was smooth, hassle free and now I have amazing eyesight, hardly needing glasses at all. The staff are kind, caring and very professional. Private health care enabled me to choose the dates for my operations and receive the most up to date technology which means that I now have good glasses free eyesight. I would recommend The Stoneygate Eye Hospital wholeheartedly.

May 16,2023This was my second cataract surgery and on both occasions I am so impressed with patient care and consideration. The receptionists are so polite, friendly and supportive. The nursing staff attentive, helpful and so very kind. My reason for having my first cataract surgery at Stoneygate in March ‘23 was after my visits a few years prior for uveitis and sarcoidosis - I realised then, that the staff were second to none. This was, therefore any easy choice for treatment. Having seen Mr Sampath who reassured me that whilst my particular cataract surgery could be complicated due to the ongoing trauma in my left eye, he would do his very best for me. He went above and beyond to restore my sight! At the time of my diagnosis I had nil sight in my left eye! Following the procedure my vision was near perfect and I could focus and read immediately, even before leaving Stoneygate that day. I decided that as my right eye was headed towards the same direction as my left had been, It made sense to have the same procedure done. Mr Sampath once again did an incredible job of improving my vision on Saturday 13th May ‘23. I am beyond grateful for his expertise and incredible skill. I would 1000% recommend him to anyone who is looking for an exceptionally talented Ophthalmologist. He’s very professional, but extremely kind and patient. I’m over the moon happy with the results from my surgeries and will always use Stoneygate for treatments and recommend this amazing eye clinic to everyone! Thank you all so much

Mar 03,2025I have been very pleased with my recent experience at Stoneygate Eye Hospital. I was initially referred for NHS cataract surgery to my left eye and chose this clinic because it also offered private treatment and I suspected that the lens I would need and prior laser eye surgery might necessitate this option. I was treated very professionally and courteously at all stages of assessment and given all the necessary information to make a decision. Mr Savant discussed in detail what choices of lens and potential outcomes there were and I requested private treatment to get a toric lens for astigmatism (not available on the NHS). The surgery itself was quickly, efficiently and painlessly conducted and the recovery uneventful. Follow up was timely and very thorough. I found all the staff at the clinic very professional and caring. I am delighted with the result as the vision in the left eye is now better than the right eye for intermediate and near vision and, using both eyes together, my vision is near perfect.
