May 01,2020This shop is a true gem in a marketplace of mediocre and lacklustre shopping experiences. From its world class product choices to its expert staff it sings excellence. High praise you may think - I’m so complimentary because I’m not their target audience being a slightly podgy man in his 50s, completely new to the ultralight backpacking world - but I still benefited from unhurried telephone advice and then quickly received the items I ordered, again benefiting from their knowledge when I had further questions about my new goods. A tent next. And I know where I’ll be buying it - I’ve already had some thorough advice from one of the staff about how to make this choice with a parting offer to call again at any time. A rare level of service and professionalism I think.

Apr 29,2020Polite and responsive customer service, but unfortunately can offer only excuses, instead of missing goods. Three weeks since order dispatched and goods still not received in the Netherlands. Claiming Corona as excuse although same day I ordered with a different UK webshop, and received within 4 days the goods I ordered. So I guess the other shop has no problem with delivery during Corona. Sad. Let Paypal sort it out with them. DIsgraceful. Avoid before all cost. Update: Goods finally arrived 4 weeks after order placement.

Apr 27,2020I have beeen ordering regularly from ultralight over the last year. They have a great selection of products, great prices and super fast delivery. I ordered some Rab kinetic and Torque pants on April 12th. The order arrived in a few days. I highly recommend ultralight.

Apr 17,2020Ordered a Patagonia top which got delayed in the post probably by the current difficulties. UOG's reply to my "where is it ?" e-mail was prompt and reassuring. Of course the top turned up soon after. Recommended dealer with a very informative web site obviously run by enthusiasts.

Apr 01,2020After reading numerous reviews I decided to purchase a Therm-a-Rest NeoAir XTherm sleeping mat from Ultralight Outdoor Gear to take advantage of their great offer of a free Therm-a-Rest Synergy Sheet. Decision was made even simpler as easy to see on the website how heavy (or light) the product is… an important consideration for lightweight bike-packing! Parcel arrived the following day, very well packaged and product is exactly as hoped and I will certainly be purchasing more from this company as I expand my range of kit. Highly recommended!
