Dec 28,2024The issue is, to quit you have to call them. They say this is for "security" purposes but apparently they are referring to their job security. Quitting by phone proved difficult for me as it was hard to get through. I waited on hold 30-60 minutes while a marketing announcement played over and over. The last time I called, after 59:59 hold time, it disconnected me at exactly one hour. I think they should just let you quit online but obviously they want to try to talk you out of it. To their credit, when I expressed my disappointment over all this, they did let me quit via email. Just be aware that when you want to quit, you'll need some lead time as you may be on hold a while to talk to the person.

They have an easy to use platform and are a nice company to work with. There are many additional free learning opportunities when you sign up, which I hope to make use of!

Dec 25,2024Varsity tutoring has renewed my faith in customer service! I had complained that they were not listening to me and wouldn’t renew our automatic payment when I tried to cancel a couple of days late but they have now reversed their stance and renewed our money!! Also I honestly don’t know if our daughter would have graduated college without their tutoring help in physics and computer science. She had very knowledgeable and relatable tutors! They were patient and really made sure she understood everything. We are very grateful for their help getting her through this last hurtle and getting her to graduation!!

Dec 25,2024Varsity Tutor is amazing. I want to acknowledge one amazing tutor who helped me obtain my licensure (LMSW). My tutor was Kendall N. She is very personable, knowledgeable, licensed, and versatile in her skills. She makes learning fun and speaks of situations that make it realistic to understand. If you can request a tutor, she is it. I would use Varsity Tutor again and again and recommend them to family and friends. Well worth the money. Thank you Varsity Tutor and Kendall N. for making me a happy customer.

Dec 23,2024Varsity tutors is not a fair company, I signed up with them over the phone. They never told me about any policies nor signed anything stating that they don’t refund what you pay for. I took a class with a tutor, I did not like it, after the fact, we had trouble scheduling classes, and I was not happy with the services… They now want me to try again with a different tutor after I don’t like their services… And they won’t refund me the remaining classes that I did not use when I only used one class … DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY THEY’RE INCONSIDERATE AND THEY’RE TUTORING AND SCHEDULING IS NOT GOOD…
