We are a locally run family business with over 30 years in the locksmith trade. We realised a demand for a quality, affordable auto locksmith service within Nottinghamshire and 3D Autokeys was developed.
3D Autokeys is proud of our fleet of fully equipped vehicle locksmith vans. They contain industry-standard machinery, which means our fully qualified auto locksmiths are fully mobile and can respond to and resolve your vehicle locksmith issues anywhere within 50 miles radius of our HQ.
We understand that the cost of replacing or repairing vehicle keys through dealerships is expensive. However, 3D Autokeys offers a low cost and convenient service that can provide the following:
Spare car keys cut and programmed. Replacements for lost or stolen vehicle keys and remote fobs. Program vehicle keys to communicate with the car and security systems. Repair damaged key blades and remotes. Replace worn-out batteries in remotes.

Jan 08,2021Although getting a price for the job you want and making an appointment with 3D is very easy quick and convenient. The service I had was terrible. So my key fob has been in a bad way for a while in regards to buttons but still managed to get along with it untill the fob stopped locking my car I had to do it manually with the key ( due to a switch coming off the board inside the key which I New about ) so finally made the jump to getting a after market key. The guys came round took my key few minutes later told me that because it’s a aftermarket key fob sometimes the code they have to programme the fob to my car doesn’t work. But they could solder my key inside back together so they new about the issue anyway for 60£ Or to contact office to order a genuine key in. would of perhaps thought it would of been a nice gesture to solder the key anyway given they couldnt do the job in the first place. So contacted head office got quoted £230 so a extra 100£ from the quote I got in the first place. So I thought Not a issue I’ll just go to the bmw an order a genuine one in which works out cheaper aswell for that matter. The next day when I tried getting into my car again the fob had stopped working all together so not only could they not do the job I wanted they even broke my key further and by the way left chunks out the case trying to get into the key. Won’t be using these guys again or even recommend them to anyone else. Way Over priced and the services you receive are terrible.

Jan 04,2021RIPPED OFF- called 3D out as recommended by my local garage as I was having issues starting my van. Gary came out and made a new key, which made the central locking, lock and unlock on its own. He told my wife its not the key and he couldn't do anything and that she should disconnect the battery, charged £48.50 and promptly left. I've since sold/scrapped the vehicle as it wont start. The guy came, took 1 look at it and said the key is faulty, he took the van away and an hour later contacted me to let me know that the new key he made is working and there are no issues with the immobiliser or central locking and that I've been ripped off by 3D. Thanks to 3D he'll make between £500 and £700 for the cost of making a new key, which he normally charges £40 to supply and programme and I've lost between £500 and £700. I would most definitely NOT recommend these people to anyone, not even my worst enemies. Ps one star rating is overrating them.

Aug 08,2020Brilliant service, saw the van and spoke to the driver Glen about getting a spare key. He couldn't have been more helpful, told me what he could provide and cost, and sorted it for me straight away - then tested it to show me it all worked - even provided a spare fob battery Cant praise him enough Now in possession of an aftermarket Ford Focus proximity key, that's actually better quality than the original!

Dec 06,2023Wont look at using 3D Autokeys in the future. Contacted them for a quote for a fob, they quoted, started the booking process to then inform me they will be unable to carry out the work. Why quote when you cannot do the job.
