Jul 07,2021Passed on my first try and it’s all thanks to the amazing instructor I had, Ferzana Iqbal. She made the experience so easy, not only was she professional but also made me feel so comfortable due to her friendliness, not once did I feel uncomfortable driving with her! I would DEFO recommend driving with A1 and that’s me speaking from the fact that I was able to pass first time with only 3 minors! Thank you once again Ferzana and A1!!

Jul 01,2021I passed first time with Sonia & she’s amazing. After feeling very nervous she reassured me a lot & made me feel much more relaxed. After having a bad experience with a different driving school she made my experience an amazing one. I enjoyed all my lessons with Sonia & always taught a lot each lesson. I would highly recommend a1 ! They are the best.!

Jun 29,2021I was no where near test ready but my test was in 2 weeks. I came to A1 and farzana helped me massively to pass first time . Very nice and friendly , we got along well and she taught me greatly by being stern when needed.

Jun 29,2021I took so many driving lessons instructors ,I wasn't happy then my friend recommended me A1 driving school .A1in the best driving school in the derby, I have just passed my test today thanks to them.If you ask me I would recommend Sonia as a driving instructor, She is great, thanks so much Sonia!

Jun 29,2021I started my driving lessons with a different driving school, but my instructor had his own plans, as he kept cancelling lessons on my scheduled lesson days, I got frustrated and then found A1 driving school. Haji was my first instructor and he was more than amazing, knowledgeable and extremely patient. My test date coincided with another student’s so Tan was asked take me for my test, and I had 1week of back to back lessons before my test day… now I am proud to say I passed my test… A1 driving school is highly recommended if you are looking for a driving school in and around the derby area. Thanks Haji, and thanks Tan…

He is a fantastic person, some instructors want to waste time so they can get more hours from you, but Haji was the only person that never wasted any time and didn't mind going over the time period that was booked. Me, my brother and my sister all used A1 driving school. Thanks Again Haji

Jun 28,2021Haji Akhter Is an amazing instructor 10/10 would recommend. I started learning at derby in April and managed to pass first time in June. His style of teaching leaves you in full confidence. Very friendly and very patient when giving instructions often going the extra mile to make himself available for lessons.

I’ve heard stories from friends about many other driving schools wasting time during lessons but with A1 you are constantly learning from start to finish and they aim to get you test ready in a fast and effective way. He was really patient with me all throughout my journey. He's a really good instructor, a bit strict but very detailed with his teachings. I have learned a lot from him and I will be forever grateful with Haji and A1 Driving Academy. Highly recommended!
