I have long, thin banana feet so often battle to find the right size, brand, model, which is also in stock. Am a Ladies UK size 9 and if I go up into men’s sizes, my skinny feet feel a little lost in extra width in areas of the men’s shoes that I have previously tried on. It is only my feet that are skinny, so my shoes need to be able to withstand some “industrial-strength” footfall!” too. I was visiting Scotland for a stay-cation and stopped in at the Glasgow store. I definitely went to the right place. I had a list of “I-love-this-about-xyz-shoes” and “I-hate-this-about-pqr-shoes”. Matt (OMG hope I haven’t had a lockdown brain moment and mixed up your name :0) & Sean never even blinked. They brought out a pile of shoes to suit my size and requirements so I had a selection to try on, which was brilliant. They were all suitable for what I had tried to explain in terms of likes/dislikes and all fit. Some just felt comfier than others. I valued their advice and patience and came away with 2 pairs of Asics that I absolutely love. One pair was a men’s size 8.5 but they fit wonderfully as they are a narrow fit for men. I wouldn’t have thought to try such a pair on myself, so am really pleased that I stopped by. I am sure that they would have offered just as good a service had I rung them to chat. I have walked and run in both pairs now and am very happy with them. I also appreciated the store’s diligence and efforts to keep us feeling safe and secure in this new crazy world we live in now. Thanks guys!

I had been looking for some Brooks Adrenaline GTS with the floral pattern. The only places that had them was Brooks and Achilles heel. The difference was delivery. I chose Achilles heel and received them in 3 days. I have started to run with them and they are fantastic. I have used ASICS Cumulus for the last 7 years but wanted a change. The Brooks are just what I wanted

Arrived quickly, excellent socks, I always wear this brand in no show but wanted some for trail running to keep the grit and grass out. Worked a treat.
