Sep 03,2021I was given the tools to learn the information, use the information in the simulations, and to make sure that my timing was correct for the exam. When I finished the exam I had 20 minutes left. I could not have done this on my first try without the course that I took through Adaptive. They gave me everything that I needed from filling out my application to feeling comfortable with the exam layout. LN is a great teacher.

Sep 02,2021AdaptiveUS has provided me an above average experience for taking the ECBA exam. There are strong points in their favor but there are also significant points of improvement that could be made. Caveat: I have not tried any other BA training programs. Overall, I would recommend AdaptiveUS for those people who are getting started in business analysis and wish to kickstart their exposure to the profession. Based on my experience, I suggest that you study rigorously, autonomously after you attend all four classes and watch their video content. The BABOK is almost a must-buy. Starting off with the positives: 1. The amount of online resources available is substantial for those who wish to learn by repetition, without a teacher. I was happy to be able to repeat several of their simulation tests and question groups pertaining different knowledge areas of the BABOK. 2. I bought their premium package which granted me access to a whole year's subscription at IIBA.org, almost on-the-clock support for any issue I had, among other perks. Definitely worth the investment. 3. Trainers and staff are very friendly. They will answer your questions and they mean to actively bring you into the loop during class. If you're deciding to enroll in IIBA certification through AdaptiveUS, expect the following challenges: 1. Their online platform is subpar. As a software engineer and product owner by profession, I could spot a significant amount of improvements to be made, specifically around performance, device responsiveness and mobile, and overall aesthetics. Remember, AdaptiveUS claims to be #1; their online platform does not reflect that, in my opinion. 2. A lot of the supporting material is also visually outdated and not appealing. It fares well if you don't care about that sort of thing but it did impact my engagement levels. 3. Some of the teachers relied on reading slides during 75–80% of the class rather than being creative and engaging with out-of-the-box experiences. As a trainer myself, I spotted an incredible opportunity to differentiate the experience for students during class. 4. Overall, the written copy throughout the course is in need of proofreading. I had this feeling that it was not written by native English speakers. If you're not a native speaker or bilingual, you'll get by. If you are, you'll be significantly hindered as some of the tests' questions become harder to understand and force to you double read, which takes exam time. 5. If you are logged into their platform, leave your desk and come back again after around 15-20 minutes, it throws you a technical error page instead of redirecting you to the login screen. You might be startled with it.

Sep 02,2021Personally, the pricing (per session) is a bit on the high side as professionals in my region (country) are not duly compensated in commensuration to what is obtainable in europe and the americas. Also, I think the templates should be updated accordingly as adaptive approach has come to stay and people should have more open templates to run with their documentation.

Sep 04,2021I had a wonderful experience. LN I liked your teaching style. The faculties I liked best are yourself and Victoria. The reasons for the above being the ability to breakdown concepts and make it very easy to understand them even differentiating between concepts that were very very close in their nature. B. Giving practical everyday examples and experiences C. most of all not encouraging and not making students fear the exam. I have not taken the exam unfortunately and yet want to with all of my heart if your program had some kind of concierge service it would be extremely helpful what I mean by that is some form of outreach from you or your staff to hand hold and get the student across the finish line. Some students may struggle with carving out time to study for others it may be doing more practice for some it would be setting small goals to complete the learning...whatever may be the reason. I can say for myself I am extremely motivated but for some reason have not got down to completing it and some kind of concierge service would greatly help. I would take the exam and also be successful and your graduation rate will greatly improve for sure. Most importantly incorporate some way for small groups of maybe 3 so that the 3 in the group support / help and encourage one another to ensure getting to the finish line.
