Jan 22,2025I attended a great 4-day training in TOGAF EA. Our trainer was extremely knowledgable beyond the syllabus and made good use of different training techniques (slides, quizzes, virtual whiteboard and discussions on day 3 & 4). He was passionate about the teaching material and provide many additional references and source materials for us to follow up on (if we are so inclined) which will help us not only for the certification but also for the practice as Enterprise Architect. Now, I am feeling well prepared for the certification.

Dec 11,2024Done a PMP exam prep training. Trainer was prepared, fully knowledgeable, and oriented toward the scope of the training without being boring a single minute. Expected more automation from provider on automatically assign PDUs into PMI as the course included some, which is the only disappointing part (no automation)

Dec 02,2024I attended a 2-day Agile PM course facilitated by Krzysztof “Chris” Politowicz. Overall course quality, exercises and approach were good. The tutor was very knowledgeable about the topic and could provide practical examples from his own work experience. The study materials and resources provided were also very helpful and of good quality. The only downside, however, was the scheduling the course itself. My initial course was supposed to take place in early/mid-October but was cancelled multiple times and finally took place in end-November. The course calendar on the Advised Skills website was not updated for the changes in a timely manner to reflect courses cancelled making it more difficult to plan around the cancellations. Advised Skills staff was very responsive and helpful with further planning. Although the course quality is very good, I would recommend all users to keep those delays in mind during booking process.

He did not only focus on the course materials but also shared helpful knowledge which he gathered during his career. Also he could translate theories into real business examples. This course was a great start to prepare for my exam.

Jul 15,2024Very good course preparing for the PMP exam with Ashish Dhoke as our trainer. Plenty of real life examples, interactive course, more complex concepts broken down by Ashish into several steps so they become easy to grasp, inclusive and respectful atmosphere throughout the class, plenty of exercises and break-out rooms to interact with other course participants. I was sceptical at first to pay extra for an on-line tutor-led class instead of purchasing a self-paced self-study option, but I am very happy with the option I chose, as it was very efficient with the focus on all the right aspects.

Jun 20,2024I took the PRINCE2 Foundation course organised by my company. It was 3 days of Krzysztof “Cris” Politowicz knowledge-sharing in a very entertaining and useful way. Although the training was on zoom, it was quite easy to follow with clear visual explanations and interaction with other participants. The schedule was followed accurately with convenient breaks and a mix of theory, exam practice and interesting videos. A lot of material was provided and with the tips and tricks that the trainer gave us, I am sure I will be successful in passing the exam and getting the certification.

Jun 20,2024I followed this PRINCE2 Foundation course (trainer: Krzysztof Politowicz) organised by my company. The whole experience was very easy-going with very explanatory and clear communication before and during the course. No issue at all with my participation. In fact, the whole approach was significantly valuable and with high level of motivation as inspired by the trainer and the detailed learning material coming from quite a variety of sources. Highly appreciated organisation and the course was completed with the impression that helpful basis and adequate guidance were set to lead (through proper revising and preparation of course from students' side) to a very successful result in exams. Inshallah! (as Mr. Politowicz was used to saying throughout the course, spreading a lot of laugh among students, to reveal a bit from his lively vibe during the training) :D

Feb 25,2025If I could give a zero star review I would. In short, my issues come down to 5 things listed below. I am bringing the issues I have had up with legal council. This company is terrible. Do not waste your time or money. 1. Abhorrent customer service. My issues with the course, the level of instruction, and quality of learning provided was far from the stellar description they provided me. Advised Skill's lack of support throughout this process has been extremely disappointing. After 3 weeks of requesting answers or clarity to information with no avail, they offered me to resit with another instructor. I had already registered with another provider who is much much better and 1/10th the price. I requested a partial refund or access to the PMI Study Hall, which they denied. I wish I had gone with the alternative option to begin with, as I now have to unlearn the incorrect information that was provided and relearn it. 2. Lack of Clear Instruction: The instructor frequently skipped over critical topics and failed to explain key concepts in a structured or logical way. Multiple times he explained information incorrectly, which lead to mass confusion and discontent by the entire class. 3. Dismissive Behavior: When students struggled or asked for clarification, the instructor often downplayed their concerns, making remarks such as “It’s really easy, I promise” rather than providing further explanation. 4. Gaps in Content: An example of this was during the session on mathematical equations. Instead of explaining the connections between formulas, the instructor simply plugged in numbers. When a student expressed difficulty with math and requested a proper explanation, the instructor refused, insisting it wasn’t worth the time—even though he emphasized its importance for the exam. 5. Inconsistencies & Errors: At multiple points, the instructor provided incorrect answers to practice questions, further confusing students. To this day, we are still struggling to get the correct answers despite multiple follow-ups (attached email thread for reference). In short: avoid at all costs. Advised Skills is a scam.
