After doing some research, my wife and I purchased this product as a security and convenience measure for our family. My wife and children traveled across the country without me for Spring Break, and I had worries about safety and communication. Amber GPS (which is what the kids call it) has worked extremely well in providing safety and an additional layer of communication ease. I have been able to track their movements and discuss landmarks along the way of their trip. The kids love it, because they have the freedom to call me at their whim (from the device). The customer service from the order stage to the set up stage has been excellent- on par with Apple and other trailblazers in the customer service arena. The reps speak clear English and are very knowledgeable about their product. They even handled a rush delivery to me so that we would have them on time- very individualized service. I am very happy to have found this system. I am in foster care for my granddaughter. I have introduced Amber Alert GPS to our case workers at child protection services. They did not know something like this existed. I hope they will recommend it to others in need of this kind of protection.

It's a good product. Battery life does suck. I wish there was a way to pay as you go, as I purchased to have my son use it on trips (i.e. Theme parks...etc) not necessary everyday, so that's not ideal...

Had had the Amber Alert GPS for 3 months now and have been very impressed. Great online tracking via Amber Alerts website. Also impressed with battery life, have tried other tracking devices and battery life was always an issue. Not with the Amber Alert GPS.

I love this device. I didn't think it was very user friendly in the beginning but after just a couple of days I've grown to love it! I'm talking about it's kind of hard to tell when the device is on and when it is off. I just go online to double check the status after I press the power button to confirm whether or not it is on or off. It definitely works the way it is supposed to and the predator alert is awesome. A student stole my daughter's device after she sat it down and we actually located it using the information from the device itself. Everyone that sees it wants extra information and they think it's really cool including the police! I do highly recommend this for every parent that has a school age child or one that is away from home frequently.

My son has a device and I was able to keep track of both my husband and son when they went camping for the first time together. It worked great even off the beaten path! My husband said it made it easy to track their progress as they hiked into the woods and even helped him to reconnoiter the path they took.

With our busy schedules, this device gives my wife and I peace of mind knowing that our young kids made it to and from school safely each day. We love the safe zone feature! They are too young for a cell phone so this device is perfect for them. If they ever need to stay after school they can easily get a hold of us and if we are stuck in traffic we can easily call them. A great combo - GPS + phone!

We don't live in a very dangerous neighborhood but I still like to feel protected when I'm walking alone at night with my puppy. That's why I got Amber alert. I know if there's ever any danger I won't be fumbling with my smart phone - I just have to hit one button and my family will know I'm in trouble. If I can't talk to them for any reason they'll be able to find my location and where I was going through the really simple app. I hope I'll never have to hit that button, but it's great to know it will always be there.

My wife bikes everywhere, even at night. Using a cell phone for emergencies is virtually impossible since it is hidden away in her saddle bag. Thus, she wanted a device to use for peace of mind, something simple, rugged, and reliable that she could throw into her pocket. We stumbled upon the Amber Alert at an AT&T store and decided to give it a try. This locator puts function over form and features. In fact, it has only one round button and a volume control. In an age where your washing machines wants to tell you MLB scores this is a good thing. We set up the device so that when my wife presses the button, a call is placed directly to my cell phone. I can either talk to her, or if she is hurt, find out exactly where she is through the online portal. On a final note, my wife called the customer service line with a question about organizing and adding users to her AAgps account. The support staff was friendly, helpful, and guided her through all the questions she had.

I've used AAGPS to track my vehicles. I have four teenagers and don't want to worry about where they are and my liability with my vehicles. Every time I've had a question I get direct and prompt answers from the people at AAGPS. Thank you for providing the service for my family.

I bought this device to stay in touch with my granddaughter. I didn't want to get her a smartphone yet because she'd be exposed to the internet and texting. With this device, I can see where she's at and talk to her when I need to. It brings me much relief and piece of mind.

If you want peace of mind where you know where your young child is at all times and that at any time they can call you in an emergency you need amber alert gps...my son who is in first grade was let out of school early. No one notified me. My son was outside the school alone ...anything could have happened...he callled me on the amber alert gps and i told him to go to the school office i was on my way to get him..i could track him and knew exactly were he was...again every young child should have one...

I originally purchased the Amber Alert GPS device because I was taking my son on vacation to California. I wanted a way to keep track of him just in case we got split up. Now I use the device every day. I always know where he's at - if he made it to school or not. Since I share custody, and he's at his mother's half the time, I can call him each night and talk to him before he goes to bed. I love being able to stay close to my son. I also love the fact that he can call me at anytime if he needs me.

I love this product. .the bread crumbs idea and the geographic fence has saved our kids lives....the special on demand texts sent when our daughter goes outside the yard is fantastic.
