Oh year 2 with A Post insurance. Same story this year - so renewal come through, huge increase in premium so went online for new renewal. The quote was significantly less which makes me think why if I’m a new customer I get a better deal. What is that called again….but what is additionally bad is the calls I received after about renewing- like am I supposed to accept the more expensive option? And the fact the caller didn’t know I had already renewed the insurance was just unacceptable. On the more positive side I did get a good quote and paid immediately as a ‘new customer’. Overall the experience was very poor as it was a repeat of what happened last year although there were less calls this year.

Suprised to see my insurance go up this year. Never had an accident or a penalty point in my life. 42 years old.
My existing policy was 377 Euro to renew, but a new policy was only 283 Euro. How can that be right? Customer for years and they do not offer and deal? Obviously I took the new policy! Crazy sales tactic by An Post. Other than that, I also have my Car Insurance with An Post and am satisfied enough.

Jul 31,2024Would of been five stars but I rang on a Friday and again on a Saturday both days told there was no one there to process my house insurance payment. Now I can't draw down my mortgage for 2 weeks as solicitor gone on annual leave. Other than that great value insurance cover
