I joined the antidote tests thanks to my coworker which recommended me the site. I was able to test awesome games, but also earn enough in some months to buy myself a steam deck. Thanks
Been a play tester since maybe 2023/4 and had a few rewards from playing there. Nothing has been hacked and no information passed on. Redeemed about £200 in Amazon vouchers so far and played some really fun games, the community is mostly positive people on their discord.
when i first joined this playtesting platform i was a bit scared but after doing my first playtests with the community i found myself having fun the staff are helpfull and are always around to join in on the fun when players are joking around
Dont even use this shit. Ive tried few months ago and my steam account is used by many hackers now and they keep coming, selling my items and sending fishing links to my friends. Nothing is real about that shiet.
The account deletion form doesn’t work. The contact form refuses to work with gmail email addresses so you can’t contact to delete your account. Try to join the discord to contact and delete… invitation doesn’t work, the server isn’t there. Seems scammy and worrisome
Tech issues and ignoring your tickets should definitely be a reason to avoid. wish I had known this, Been a member for months and have yet to test a single game.
As a user on the testing side you get to test stuff (that's the fun part) and fill in questionnaires. The bad stuff comes when you try to buy a gift card or anything they use to "pay" their testers in exchange for "Antidote coins". First of all I was notified after 2 days of communication that you can only get one reward from the store a month and it takes more than 20 days to arrive. I just got my 10$ gift card that I redeemed 22 days ago. It doesn't let me get anything else until next month... If you apply as a tester be ready for this and do it just for the fun of it because the rewards system they designed is not fun to use.

Apr 14,2025I've personally never had any issues with Antidote playtesting. Every session I’ve been part of has been smooth, well-organized, and enjoyable. The team has always been communicative and professional. As for the review claiming they got “hacked,” it's very likely they just clicked one of those common Discord phishing links — it happens more often than people realize. That doesn’t reflect on Antidote at all. From my experience, the community and moderators take security and support seriously.
