Oct 15,2020We were very disappointed with our experience trying to buy the Frieda bike from A/O. The bike was pre-ordered on 07/28 with a ship date of 10/06. On 10/08 I had still received no update on my order so I reached out to the company and was told that my bike was now set to ship on 12/14. Why I had to ask for the information and an update wasn’t provided previously is a mystery. Strangely, if you go on the website and pre-order the same bike today, it has a ship date of 12/12, 2 days sooner! I spoke with 2 different people at A/O who couldn’t explain to me why a bike bought 3 months prior would ship out later than a bike purchased today. I was told I would get a call back from the order department and that never happened. The information provided is unreliable and I no longer feel comfortable doing business with this company. At least their order cancellation process was quick and seamless. I have ordered a bike from another company and it’ll be here Tuesday.

Sep 29,2020I wanted to love this company so much, but my experience was probably one of the worst purchasing experiences I’ve had in awhile. 1) I called for 2 weeks with sizing questions as I’m very short. No answer! 2) it’s illegal to charge for an item months in advance (seriously look it up) 3) I received an email from another company saying my bike was now back ordered while on preorder. Despite receiving a shipping notification from Fed EX saying it was shipped , the day before. I contacted your company, they didn’t see that my bike was shipped and said they didn’t know what was going on. 4) Fed EX says my bike has been delivered (I was outside all day, no bike) I email your company, they STILL have no idea what’s going on. Two days later I see my bike at my door. While I understand that number 4 was a fed ex issue, your company should still have tracking on its items. 5) Seat to bar is uncomfortable (which was the few questions I wanted to ask when I called) this bike is the incorrect size for me and I’m 5 1- within your recommendation for the bike. So, now I have to use this bike as my only method to work until the Audrey is back in stock in November. Through all of this, each time I emailed, I received a response from another company telling me they are so busy it will take 2 weeks to get a response..... I HOPE this experience was due to all the covid restrictions at the time, and it goes well this time.

Sep 17,2020Ok my bike "FRIDA" is the cutest thing ever! I got is during quarantine and have get non stop compliments on it when I'm riding thru my neighborhood especially since I put a dog basket on the back end of my bike. Putting it together was a little confusing I had my brother do it while supervised of course. 10/10Would definitely recommend this bike

Sep 16,2020I'd been searching for my ideal bike for months and nearly gave up when Covid hit. Finally I found the perfect bike that met ALL my requirements, even though I was unsure about putting it together myself. Even with Covid, my bike arrived in under a week exactly as described. It might actually be more beautiful in person. I had no trouble at all putting it together and felt confident riding it immediately. When I couldn't find the serial number, the A/O team responded to my email nearly immediately. I could not recommend this bicycle more. I love her so much! Thank you A/O!

Sep 15,2020I love the Rosa bike I purchased. It was easy to put together, looks beautiful, and has been great for riding in my hilly neighborhood. I did an easy 10 mile ride the other day and it was very comfortable. I haven’t ridden a bicycle in over a decade but this bike makes me want to keep going. My sister is patiently waiting for her order to be fulfilled so she can join me for rides.

Aug 31,2020I had been looking for a white bike with brown leather accents for a while, when I found the A/O Maya. It is everything I wanted in style and features! I ordered on May 27, and due to the high demand at that time, it was scheduled to arrive in mid- August. But, it came at the end of June! The customer service regarding shipping and arrival dates was thorough and timely. It is great to support an American made product. Note: the color is not a stark white, but slightly off-white if you're matching accessories. I keep checking the company's website for baskets and helmets, as it seems they are adding to their inventory. This was a great purchase and I have had MANY compliments!

Aug 29,2020I love my new Serena bike! I haden't ridden a bike in about 20 years, but I wanted to try it again because I used to love it. My 20 year old bike was a dissaster, so I looked online for one I liked. I fell in love with the Serena when I first saw it. It arrived sooner than expected, and I was able to put it together myself because of the excellent instructions. Now I am enjoying riding every day - just like I did as a teenager - LOL! This is an excellent, high quality bike and I am super happy with it!

Aug 25,2020Purchased the Rosa and could not be happier. I was looking for a hybrid bike and I found that in the Rosa. The 21 speed bike with shocks allows me the freedom to take it through my local trails and on the road. The instructions were a bit vague on how to tune the bike, but other than that assembly wasn’t too bad. Also the bike is gorgeous!

Aug 21,2020The instructions for assembly are easy to follow and it was fun putting it together. It's also nice because the instruction book teaches you how to do a tune up. It was a little tricky getting the breaks and gears right but if you do very small adjustments at a time like it instructs then you should be fine. I was even able to fix the breaks on my other bike after working through the booklet. It's nice to know I'll be able to do my own tune ups in the future rather than having to take it somewhere. I recommend watching YouTube videos if you have a hard time with any of the steps. I did everything on my own but a second person would've made the job a lot easier. I was impressed with the quality of components, however one of my splash guards came scratched and is a little bent which was disappointing. That said, I'm sure they would have sent me a new one but I never did anything about it. I've come to really love and appreciate this commuter bike. The ride is comfortable and easier on my back and shoulders than my road bike. It's a little heavy but it's easy to control and since it's a 21 speed, going up hills a breeze. It's not very fast but I'm used to a road bike so maybe it's fast for a commuter style, I couldn't say. Overall, I'm really happy with this bike and would recommend it as a purchase for those who are looking for an easy, comfortable ride.

Aug 19,2020A great bike!!! I ordered this bike when the stay at home order was first in place. It came in three weeks rather than six. The bike comes pretty much assembled. I only had to put on the front wheel (really easy) handle bars and the bike seat. This is a solid bike and holds up well on long trips. The 7 gears change with ease and make it very easy to do hills. The front and back brakes allow me to breeze down hills with confidence that I can stop on a dime. I've ridden this bike between 12 and 18 miles on several occasions. The seat is very comfortable and the bike is just amazing!!!

Aug 10,2020I love my new Serena! It took a labor of love to put it together, but it was well worth it and makes be feel like I know my bike better, in case I need to troubleshoot on the trail. It looks flashy, accessorizes nicely, and just overall makes me feel happy! The lifetime warranty is also a huge plus. Customer service was friendly and timely with email communication regarding shipping and order updates. This bike brings joy. Love it!

Aug 08,2020I love the look of the Maya 21 speed! It has a beach bike feel but allows you to do so much more than casual riding. Set up was fairly easy. I would say it took me around an hour to have the bike fully set up. I would recommend having a partner to help you. There is no way I would have been able to set it up on my own. I did have an issue with the front fender being dented in shipping, but their customer service was on top of things and was more than happy to fix the problem. Just a word about their customer service. They have a lot of knowledge, and it seemed like they had someone there to help with any part of the bike set up. I really appreciated that. As far as the ride, I can give you my own personal opinion but know that I am not a bike enthusiast. I ride bikes for fun, and I look for a bike that will be easy for me to ride because I’m short, and bikes always seem too big for me. This bike was really easy to adjust to my height. I am 5’1”, and after some adjustments, I felt this bike was perfect for my height. Riding was very smooth, and it was really easy to switch from gear to gear. It didn’t take very long for me to get the hang of it. The seat is really comfortable and wide like a beach bike, so it was nice to ride around town and not feel like the seat was digging into my butt. Overall I am happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend this bike.

Aug 07,2020The A/O Serena Bike was just what I was looking for in a bike! I have been riding a one-speed beach cruiser for the last couple of years and was looking for something that had a little more speed, but was still stylish like my old bike. The Serena does just that! I can zip around my city in style and the bike is super comfortable to ride. I feel like I could ride for hours on it. Being that it is so hard to find a bike right now due to the pandemic, this was great that they allowed pre-order with accurate shipping dates. It arrived right on time and I was able to take it over to my local bike shop to get it assembled. Would definitely recommend A/O, especially the Serena, for those who are looking for a stylish, comfortable commuter bike.

Oct 29,2020A/O Women's Amelia Single Speed Beach Cruiser Bicycle - Lavender My adult daughter is 5’1” and we were so excited to find a bicycle to fit her small size - and the gorgeous lavender color was a bonus! She loves her new beach cruiser and we have enjoyed many rides through the neighborhood together. Customer service has been great and assembly was a breeze. I highly recommend!
