We ordered a very large round table that is absolutely beautiful, EVERYONE who comes over comments about it. The owner followed up with a written thank you card, now who does that anymore. Excellent customer service, they go above and beyond...we will definitely be ordering more teak furniture from them.

I spent much time researching teak tables, looking for a table that was attractive, well priced and could withstand wind and weather of the Northern California coast. At Atlanta I found outdoor furniture that met all of my requirements. My husband, who has more questions than there are answers to, made several calls to this company. The business owner, Larry, was most patient and knowledgeable and emailed us with information in addition to what he could answer on the phone. Our order arrived quickly and so well packed that when it arrived punctured, with what appeared to be forklift damage, the tables remained undamaged. Now comes the best part! We are collectors of fine handmade furniture and the quality and craftsmanship or our tables was even better than we had hoped for. The tables are substantial enough to withstand high winds yet the proportions are elegant. And the teak is absolutely stunning! As a previous review mentioned, a handwritten note from the business owner arrived soon after delivery, thanking us for our business. What perfect icing on a perfect cake!

May 08,2019After much research I decided to go to Atlanta Teak for a dining table and choose the Royal extension table. I had good experience with their customer service they responded quickly to all questions. About the product; this table is incredible, the quality, fit, finish are all top notch. The extension operation and the way the leaves fold in/out is beautiful. A note however if you purchase this table consider the weight, it says 175lbs and it is all of that! The item was shipped common carrier and I chose a depot pick up to save some money (if you live in an urban area this is usually a good option if you have a way to pick it up, truck, trailer or SUV). you cannot move this by yourself, Atlanta Teak will be my 1st choice in any future teak furniture purchases.

Larry has a great business model: he's developed strong, direct relationships with overseas sellers of high quality teak, sells directly from his warehouse rather than via a flashy showroom, then passes savings on to his customers. I have bought multiple teak furniture items from Larry and am satisfied every time.

Dec 14,2018Larry was very helpful in explaining "teak". The item was shipped on the same day as requested. It was nicely packed and arrived without damage. As promised by Larry all the parts were there. The instructions were somewhat weak to someone seeing them for the first time, but adequate. I talked to a contractor friend before starting assembly which was good. Definitely do need two people for assembly. We were cautioned by the contractor to not spill glue on the teak as it could stain it and we did not. It is a wonderful, quality piece; we are very happy with it. Thanks, Larry.

Jul 09,2019Had a good experience discussing the order over the phone with customer service. The table arrived intact, well packaged, No styrofoam!!! Yay, for the Environment! The quality of the teak was very good and In terms of putting the small table together, all the holes lined up! And it was a no brainer. As we all know this frequently does not happen. I think it speaks to the quality of the product.
