Mar 08,2022We had an amazing touring weekend in Rila with Stanislav as a guide. Although weather and conditions were tricky, he found the right route and lines for our (very mixed level of stamina and skiing technique) group so at the end we had huge smiles on. Feelings of safety and friendly atmosphere add up to the experience, which I would definitely recommend and chose for myself again!

Feb 07,2022I participated in the course "Introduction to Ski Touring" for beginners. It is perfect for people who want to try how it feels to go ski touring. Stanislav is a great instructor and explained in detail what to do and what not to do and how to get the most out of such an experience. The weather and good snow made the day even more memorable. I enjoyed the experience and will go again! :)

Feb 01,2022Изкарах си страхотно. Научих много за планината, безопасноста, техниката на пантене и т.н. Физическото натоварване беше повече отколкото очаквах и много се радвам че успях да се справя. Мисля че второ ниво би ми било твърде трудно, но с радост бих се записал пак на първо ниво, особенно ако е по друг маршрут.

Feb 18,2021I enjoyed an awesome 2-day ski-touring session. Having in mind I am a beginner at this I enjoyed the route and all the information that the instructor Ivo has shared with us! I would definitely enjoy some of their other adventures and recommend using their services.

Jan 18,2021Very knowledgeable and friendly instructors. Exercises were very well explained and involved absolutely everyone that had signed up for the course. The instructors answered all extra questions and gave even more insight. I would recommend this type of course to anyone interested in mountain touring or skiing. This course gave me the basics of understanding potential avalanche indicators, as well as the basics of finding a buried by an avalanche person.

Екипът на Basecamp tours представи в детайли причините за възникване на лавина, на какво да обръщаме внимание в зимната планина, и какво да бъде нашето поведение при насъпил лавинен инцидент. Минусовите градуси направиха практическата част много интересна. Предоставената възможност за работа с лавинна екипировка направи мероприятието изключително полезно за мен!

Jan 10,2021We have just had a one day Avalanche course by Basecamp. Our instructor was Stanislav. From our initial e mails to the course itself the communication was excellent. We were met on the day by Stanislav and taken to the top of Vitosha, where we spent the day learning about Rescue equipment and procedures and red flags to look out for to avoid Avalanches, plus the basics on how Avalanches occur. The whole day, was informative and fun and our Instructor was excellent. I can’t recommend this highly enough. We have already booked for a two day Beginners Ski Touring Course in February and can’t wait. Thank you Base camp and particularly Stanislav.
