Oct 29,2021Debating whether to fit my own realist double bass pickup I phoned bass bags for advice. After a good 40min chat on the phone about options, and advice for fitting pickups I ordered the realist. Now fitted with the minimum of fuss, and sounding great. Very pleased. Great to be able to talk directly to luthier that fits the pickups, and know you have a great price and support if anything goes wrong.

Dec 13,2021I paid extra for a bass set up when buying a new bass. After I received it I informed the shop the action was far too high, 25mm on the E string. They told me I would have to pay extra for it to be set up properly. I had to take it to a Luthier to be set up, an extra £250 They sent a new but faulty soft case and expect me to take it back to the shop, a 140 mile round trip. They will not arrange collection or a courier which is contrary to law. Now they ignore my emails. There are better shops out there with proper customer service
