I have found that the information that BeenVerified gave me is outdated and is not correct. So this tells me that I can't trust the other information that i am looking for so I have just through away money here. I would not recomend this site.

Been Verified is a shady organization and is not to be trusted. They are trying to sell my personal information even though I asked that they not sell my personal information. BeenVerified.com responded with a LIE saying they do not sell personal information. Wish I could upload a file showing the report with my personal information they are selling through their website. When I asked BeenVerified.com to remove my personal information via Google, they refused.

I was checking a credit card statement and saw a charge from BeenVerified for $28.61 in January. I had no idea who this company was, did a search and found how to contact them. I checked for emails from them to my two personal email accounts, and there were NO emails from the company in either. Not in regular, not in spam. I put the email address into their login option to see about resetting a password. No connection to them. Their customer service was prompt in responding. They say I signed up for the $1 free week trial and didn't cancel back in June, so it became automatic. I don't believe that because I saw another review here on Trustpilot who writes, "As soon as you pay, then make an account they take you to another screen. This site was flashing/reloading itself quickly and thus was unusable." I NEVER had that experience. The company NEVER asked/forced me to set up an account. So while they might be a legit company to find information, they are signing people up without their knowledge. CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENTS FOR THEIR FALSE CHARGES. I will give them that they said they refunded my money and also cancelled my supposed subscription without any argument.

Never signed up to them, they stole my email address and sent me dodgy emails claiming I had set up an account with them. I had never heard of them before those emails. I'm not even in the US. Upon trying to look up how to contact them, their site claimed I was blocked from viewing that page. They never even bothered to verify my email before signing me up. Just a scam IMHO.

This website sucks. Not only did it give me no information even after trying multiple routes, it couldn’t even find someone who I KNOW exists. Waste of money do not buy

You advertise on Google as a company that checks for scammers. But that is a fa-king lie. Your customer service rep even verified that this false advertising company does not check for possible scammers. Basically, you fa-king scammed me, you fa-king assholes! Edit: I searched multiple records, not just international, but also domestic. You have a promoted Google stating this service includes scamming searches. Your service rep verified it DOESN'T as well. Consequently, I stand by my review that I was scammed by your advertising rather than finding a scammer which I verified with a reputable company. BeenVerified sucks for its false advertising!

I tried the trial period for $1. Thought that was a good deal, even though the trial was only good for about 1 week. Some of the information I know was incorrect, but for the most part I found people I had not been in touch with for years. My big complaint is that when I cancelled the account I was charged $14.95 for certified mail. The cancellation was done via the internet, so the trial was actually $16, not $1. False advertising!

Tried twice to charge my credit card for unauthorized transactions. Thankfully my card company disapproved these charges because of the bad reviews of Beenfverfied.com

My original purchase of 1 dollar to use the service once went through just fine and I was able to find information on the phone number. But one week later I get an unverified charge to the card I used for 38.89 and have to dispute with bank. Please be careful about which websites you’re giving your card/bank information to. Thankfully the charge didn’t go through, but watch out yall!

Been verified has some of the most misleading information I've ever seen. If you want to look up a phone number to see who is it might be coming from then yes it's a good website but do not believe any other information about anybody on here because it's misleading they compile information from numerous places and they just jumble it all together and it's up to you to make sure what is what so do not believe anything you see on beenverified until you do your homework and make sure it is 100% legit

I decided to try beenverified.com to reverse lookup a phone number that has been calling me but was unable to use their service. As soon as you pay, then make an account they take you to another screen. This site was flashing/reloading itself quickly and thus was unusable. It didn’t seem to get any better using a different browser. Then only parts of the company’s website that worked for me were the sales pitch ones. The customer service page was not flashing, but the submit button didn’t work so it was also useless. I thought I was going to pay $1 to lookup some quick information, but an hour later I’m left hoping just to get through to cancel my account. If this is such a big and popular company, why is it so impossible to use? I briefly considered downloading the app to see if I would have a better experience but now I’m sorry that I gave them my payment information.

I tried looking up six individuals. There was enough info to see that they were the ones looking up. None of the phone numbers were current. 6 of 7 email addresses were wrong. Waiting to see on the 7th.

After having a slight issue, I emailed customer service. The issue was taken care of immediately and money refunded. I must say, in this day in time (where good customer service rarely exists), I was extremely impressed with how quickly and hassle free this was resolved. I definitely recommend BeenVerified for both the quality and the excellent customer service.

It has some fractional usability. Very SCAMMY, but falling short of a scam. Just barely. I despise their hocus pocus tactics... flim flam artists. I have it for one more month, but never give them my info. But I'm out surfing the net, after I had just checked a guy on their server, and THERE THEY ARE! IN MY SEARCH RESULTS AND SEEMINGLY WITH THE EXACT INFO I NEEDED!... and HIGHLIGHTED, as a link. Which i click, because i already HAVE this f*****. And when I click, it's just an font made to look like a link... and all the supposed information they have on the same person that I just searched their freaking site with... is just taken from the search criteria that I used to search them in the first place! There you go! There's your scam! I clicked it a couple more times and then the search window for the site popped up again with the dude's name in it and nothing else and so I clicked it once more and it took them back to the same stupid boring stuff that it showed me before. Congratulations guys you lost my business forever! It's bad enough that I can't just buy a subscription for a month and leave it at that but you got to drag me through your stupid Hocus Pocus screen... oh we're searching for your information you just know we are! Any minute now it's going to be here! it's going to be so good! I bet you can't wait! Ooh wee! we got a buttload of this info you're wanting, just got to wait, hold on, and: BOOM! Did you like our little cartoon with the gears and dials and everything? ...right to the freaking credit card screen. After 5 minutes of wasting our time with little gears and dials and Blinky lights ...and complete BS... when we already know it takes you a few nanoseconds to search every single place you know??? so why are you acting like we're idiots!? It is not us.

I would rate this a zero star if I could. This company is a joke and they are scam artists. I got to set up account page which is after the payment page, I never had set up an account with them. I did call them and got them to refund my card which I did not authorize. Most look up companies have you set up an account and then proceed to the payment page. This company does not. If anyone wants to set up a petition to have this company shut down, I’d sign it immediately. These people are scammers.

If I could rate zero, I would. No customer service. But at least I was able to cancel going forward ! Some of the reviews recount much worse experiences trying to cancel for months! I will be checking my credit card statements carefully!
