Nov 13,2024Bellingham safaris organized for me a truly unforgettable trip through Namibia by putting together an ad hoc itinerary that included three dramatically different sites with regard to landscape and wildlife, namely the Ongava tended camp near Etosha National Park, the Hoanib Skeleton coast camp and the Wilderness Little Kulala lodge near the Sossusvlei dunes. These three locations provided visual evidence of the amazing adaptation of wild animals and plants alike to an increasingly harsh terrain as I moved from the semi-arid savanna of Ongava, through the rocky desert of the Hoanib valley , ending at the unique Mars-like landscape of Sossusvlei. An incredible journey in which, thanks to expert and knowledgeable guides, I closely observed all sort of big and small creatures in their natural habitats, in addition to learning about the geological history of this ancient place. It could not have been a better choice of itinerary for me to discover the harsh unique beauty of an Africa that I didn't know existed. Furthermore, I was very much impressed by the high quality of the accommodations throughout the trip and the seamless logistics operating behind it. Last but not least for a solo traveler like me, the staff of Bellingham Safaris followed my journey on a daily basis through a group chat, providing additional commentary to my experience ( particularly with regard to the conservation efforts associated with ecotourism) as well as traveling support when needed. Bottom line: a magic trip in a magic land.

As experienced travelers, we found their attention to detail remarkable, starting with being expedited through immigration & customs in a fraction of the usual time. Step by step, each of the arrangements were timely and organized to deliver the best experiences possible. The selection of local guides, locations & lodges, all demonstrated Bellingham's deep roots within the travel community. Very apparent during this trip was the care of keeping the animals and environment intact for others to enjoy. Sep 30,2024Having just returned from yet another fabulous adventure provided by Simon and his team at Bellingham Safaris, I can only say that each journey is a stunning gem in the crown of Africa! Zambia was teeming with wildlife. Each of the camps' locations in Livingstone, Lower Zambezi and South Luangwa National Parks and the Busanga Plains offered varying species, with hippos & crocs, elephants, leopards, lions, not to mention the vast herds of antelope speices and birds of all colors, shapes and sizes. There were magnificent photo ops at every turn. The people of Zambia were warm, welcoming and delightful company, making every part of our journey a memorable experience. Kudos to the Bellingham Safari team for making Zambia shine!

Aug 18,2024We have been travelling with Bellingham Safaris since their inception and the efficiency and dedication to detail never fails to impress. This trip tested Shelly with 5 of us staying together for 8 nights, then two going one way for 4 nights, two another way for 4 nights and one another way staying on longer, with 4 of us flying back to the UK on the same flight. Everything worked so well, you are given a WhatsApp group to ask anything at any time and any queries we did have were dealt with immediately, and I mean immediately. All transfers, flights, meet and greets were very efficiently carried out, one was missed but sorted within 5 minutes of a message to the team which was very impressive. No other issues the whole trip, the lodges recommended Ngala and Kirkmans Camp in the Kruger and Tswalu in the Kalahari were excellent. Wildlife sightings very good with over 1700 photos to go through, we even managed to see a Pangolin ( it did have a tracker at Tswalu but still took some finding). With Bellingham Safaris all you have to do is book your international flights, we have booked two trips for 2025 already and are planning 2026. You need to book early with the lodge partners they use as they are mostly small and all eco friendly so get booked up quickly. We can't thank the team enough for more life experiences.

Feb 20,2024Just returned from an 18 day trip organised by Bellingham Safaris, covering South Africa, Botswana & Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls). The trip involved numerous flights & hotels/lodges. All the choices & arrangements were superb. Throughout, we felt that they were ensuring that everything went according to plan. We cannot fault Bellingham in any way & would highly recommend them to anyone planning a similar trip. In fact they were recommended to us by close friends who made a similar trip in 2020. Whilst this was the most expensive holiday we have ever taken, I feel that we got good value & do not regret any of the choices. We would happily use this company again, if & when we return to southern Africa. Thank you Bellingham for looking after us so well & for an unforgettable holiday.

Jan 24,2024Excellent trip to Patagonia. I can't thank the whole team enough. Our guide, tracker, and driver were amazing and Bellingham made sure everything ran smoothly. We couldn't have done it without them. We saw Pumas up close, Glaciers so close you could touch them, and magnificent scenery. Truly remarkable.

Simon took great care of us in cape town, and went out of his way to give our kids an awesome experience. Having an organised and guided experience in South Africa made us feel safe, and took all the hard work out of finding our way around and organising activities. Thoroughly recommend! Ulusaba safari was amazing! We wouldn’t have known to go here without Shelly’s recommendation.

Simon's enthusiasm and knowledge was outstanding (once again) and facilitated some amazing sightings and unforgettable experiences. The Bellingham safaris team was excellent in making our plans customized for our small group. All of our travel arrangements were streamlined and pulled off without any issues. The camps we stayed at were unique, extremely comfortable and in proximity to abundant wildlife without any crowds.

They work closely with you to tailor your trip to your needs and then to make sure that every step of the trip goes smoothly.
