I recently took a trip to Kenya and I cannot imagine any other tour operator doing a better job. Let's start at the beginning. My flight from the US landed first in London and then a second flight was to have gone to Kenya. The airline nightmare began with AA being two hours late causing me to miss my next flight on British Air. BA had given my flight away before I got off the plan and had no acceptable replacement. I spent three days and nights at Heathrow airport forcing me to miss those days of my tour. I stood in lines hours long at the airport and my second replacement flight never left the ground after being held hostage in the plane for hours. I was ready to go home. My phone would not work much of the time in the airport, but I was finally able to contact Best Singles Travel. They figured out a way to arrange for a driver to meet me at the Nairobi airport three days after my trip began and take me to Samburu, a five hour drive where the group was then located. If it had not been for this effort in figuring out a way for me to meet my group then this trip would have been lost for me. And what a shame that would have been because once I finally arrived it was magical. I saw every animal as well as much of the countryside driving all over even with missing three days. The lodges were picturesque with monkeys playing on expansive grounds, wild birds and animals, beautiful colored geckos, mountains and streams in the background where the sun met a landscape expanding as far as the eye could see producing sunsets like those seen in National Geographics. Oh, did I mention the food? No US chemicals. Just organically grown and delicious. If anyone reading this decides to travel to Kenya then I hope you stop to see David Sheldrick's rescued baby elephants. I am grateful that Best Singles Travel and Patrick, our knowledgeable considerate tour guide, took the time, effort and resources to make the remainder of this trip happen for me because now I cannot imagine having missed it. This trip was organized, included lovely memorable hotels/lodges and attentive to our needs. I highly recommend this travel company!

I recently returned from the Niagara Falls trip with Best Single Travel, and it was nothing short of amazing! From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, making the entire experience stress-free and thoroughly enjoyable. The itinerary was well-planned, balancing sightseeing, group activities, and free time. The highlights, of course, were the breathtaking views of Niagara Falls. The boat tour that took us up close to the falls was unforgettable. Our host was knowledgeable, friendly, and always ready to assist, making sure everyone in the group felt included and had a great time. The accommodations were comfortable, and the meals were delicious. If you're considering this trip, don't hesitate – it's a must-do experience that I highly recommend! I'll definitely be booking with Best Single Travel again.

I have travelled with them in the past and it was great when arranged by the previous owner. Unfortunately, she passed away and the current owner has done a terrible job. A New Years eve celebration trip was not hosted at the advertised venue. Instead, a horrible place with no air conditioning in Africa! The actual New Years eve events were cancelled we were told when they were not. Just held at the advertised original facility. Bait and switch. Never again.

If I can give it zero stars, I would. This is WORST Single Travel. This is my second vacation and I've had problems with both trips. The only reason I am traveling on this second trip because I had already booked it (before I came home from taking the first trip) and I knew Nicole would not refund me. I am in agreement with so many of the customers who have written reviews. Nicole does not care about customers or their well being. She instead blames us and states that this is what we signed up for. I signed up for a vacation that included 4 star hotels that would be stress free. I did not sign up for hotels that don't have restaurants, room service, food that made us sick, broken AC, stale and stinky rooms, hotels that don't provide amenities (which true 4 star hotels would provide), hotels that are in a shady location, and hotels whose staff could less about resolving the issues professionally. Nicole does not respond in a timely manner and makes excuses for her actions. We sat in a hotel lobby for 4 hours so that the AC can be fixed. A decent business owner would show concern when they are told by their customers that all 3 got sick from the breakfast buffet at a "4-star hotel". This is the last time I will give my hard earned money to Nicole who doesn't care about providing good customer service. Vacations with this agency are full of problems especially during the trip when we should be relaxing and enjoying ourselves. I have never been treated so poorly by a travel agent and never had such experiences with any travel agency. Nicole needs to learn how to treat people with respect and understanding. Otherwise she needs to get out of this line of work. Pay attention to all these reviews and don't book with this agency. One more thing...if you for whatever reason decide to book through this agency make sure you are getting what you paid for. Based on the itinerary online on their website the cost of the trip includes 4 dinners and one lunch. I thought I was paying for 4 dinners and 1 lunch in the cost of the trip. Less than two weeks before the trip when she had my money she decided to change the itinerary so that the cost of the trip only includes 3 dinners instead of the 4 and one lunch. Nicole took my money for 4 dinners and 1 lunch but only gave me 3 dinners. This may not be a big deal but if an itinerary is changed to where you are not getting some of the things you already paid for you, you should be refunded. In my last trip the itinerary I paid for was changed 2 weeks before the trip where one of the major sightseeing places was removed. I was told that the online itinerary was incorrect because they had not updated it. How is that my fault?? The cost I paid included an excursion but I didn't get what I paid for because the excursion was removed. This is not ethical. Maybe that's why Nicole doesn't send the final itinerary until the last minute...so that she can make changes to the original itinerary, take things away that were paid for, hope that we don't notice it or it's too late to correct it. And let me add this…Lynn you were quick to respond to Lori’s review but Nicole was not responding to our request for hours. Doesn’t matter if you are closed on Labor Day. Any travel agency would have someone available at any time for issues such as these. Tour guides and managers don’t have the authority or capability to address all issues. It is the responsibility of the travel agent to make sure help is available from an agency agent in United States. After waiting for 4 hours to resolve hotel issue, do you really expect us to move to another hotel at 9 pm??? Also not you or Nicole have been in the hotels you put us in. You are merely going off websites for reviews. How about believing your guests who are actually there? Also SIMMs hotel did say they have room service on their website. I have the screenshot. Instead of accepting the wrongs you have done, both you and Nicole get defensive and blame guests. What a great way to do business. And maybe you have been in business for 15 years but that was when Sheryl ran it. Now that Nicole is running it I doubt it will last another 15 years unless Nicole learns how to be a better agent by being professional and changing her attitude and her approaches with clients.

I am stuck in a hotel in Venice Austria with no food no A/C. We have all tried to get ahold Nichole for help in resolving the problem. 2.5 hours with multiple calls, emails and texts, including from our guide. She finally called me and said too bad, that is what I signed up for. Never asked if we are ok from all of getting ill from the breakfast at the previous hotel. Nothing. So unprofessional. I travel over 100 thousand miles a year. Things happen, but you don't say too bad and abandon everyone. I have heat rash now and am flying home 5 days early as I fear it will continue to get worse . Go with any other agency. Save yourself. I am calling the BBB next. Shame on you Nichole. Please get your story straight. Someone else was too tired to move after a 14 hour day at that point and it would have taken another w hours to move. ALL of us are unhappy and can prove you changed the trip details. You should check the hotels before you put someone there, not just their website that is inaccurate currently. I am choosing to leave because it keeps getting worse . Not interested in a sub standard vacation . Wish I had read the yelp reviews before I booked this. 😪

Did St Augustine, Niagara Falls and Banff all in one yr. Tourism was already open after COVID. All 3 were the same tour guide. She claims to have 9 yrs experience, but it was so disorganized, not on schedule and was very in-your-face about being social with the group. Took candid, horrid pictures and shared them with the group. And will ask how come you weren't smiling on this photo... okay...Got everyone's email address, phone numbers and d.o.b. on a pc of paper and asked everyone to verify your private info for everyone to see. Not doing them again! When i made complaints to Sheryl, the owner, her response was, she'll remove me from the email list. (LOL)

I just returned from a 10 day 9 port cruise offered through Best Single Travel. The trip/ports were wonderful and the people I met were great. The praise stops there. Three days prior to leaving the US, we received our final itinerary which was vague enough to allow for last minute changes. Most ports were unguided walking tours. Ultimately the promised private locally guided tours were primarily hop on/hop off busses, local or taxi transportation, and a lot of walking....including a few 30 minute walks to meet our local 2-3 hour walking tour guide. One guided tour was in fact a free chamber of commerce tour with 40 others from our ship. (The tour/guide was great, however we paid for private tours...where did that money go?). Myself and most of the others on this trip were actually traveling on credit from prior covid cancelations....it certainly felt like we got the cheap tours because the money was already spent....However, based on other reviews (on other sites), it seems that wasn't the case, but rather how this company operates. NCL is an awsome cruise line that caters to solo travelers....so next time, book solo and take part in the ships excursions!

Disgusting. Beware of this company. False advertising. They advertised a cabin on a cruise with “only 4 cabins left” “best price guarantee” and listed the cabin prices. I booked a cabin at what I assumed was a sale price. A few days later they stated the cabin was actually twice the price and I had to pay double or find a different tour. I have been advised that this is a classic Bait and Switch scam. I feel swindled and very annoyed. Apparently they “made a mistake” but there was no decency involved, just a demand for double or nothing. I reached out over WhatsApp and the company representative was so rude! Honestly do not book with them. They’re either scammers or incompetent and when something needs sorting, oh I tell you what, they are so rude to their customer. I’ll never consider travel with this company.

I took a trip to Bali with Best Single Travel in January 2020. It was my first trip with the company and I was very satisfied. I was extremely worried when I missed my connecting flight in Dubai and was 14 hours late meeting up with the rest of the group, but a quick call to the local guide and I was still picked up at the airport and brought to the hotel where I met up with my fellow travelers. There were a few places on the itinerary that I would have preferred to skip, but I had enough free time to take myself to a couple of other places that I wanted to see but weren't on the itinerary. I would gladly travel with Best Single Travel again. Indeed, I had registered for 2 trips back to back that had to be altered due to the pandemic and when I decided that I didn't want to deal with the changes, my deposit was cheerfully and rapidly refunded. As far as roommates go, mine was fine, very consider about sharing the space, but like with all people, I imagine it is hit or miss.

The woman who runs this company has no idea what she's doing. She assigned a young girl who had never traveled before to be the leader of our group. She's cursed in communication. She's said on the phone, I can't work on that now, I'm eating my Chinese food delivery. You want a professionally run trip? You want a bit of class and finesse? Stay clear of this company. It's the absolute bottom of the barrel. It is so funny that the owner of the company replied that my post is FAKE. No! It's not fake. It's a real post and it states the facts. Using a term like FAKE post tells you a lot about her. You don't like something, therefore it's FAKE! The shame is that a woman like the owner of this company can post trips, take other people's money and not have the faintest idea what she's doing! She can claim my post is not authentic if it suits her. But, believe me, it is extremely authentic. ______ Stating facts is a rant? Denial is the easy way out. Denial and capitalizing fake. Facts are facts, no matter how much one tries to deny it. You can edit your post to include more denials. But the facts remain as stated above.

I wen to Europe in July 2019 with this group. LOTS of excursions and site seeing, plenty of free time to do your own thing of shopping or relaxing. Yes we had one hotel with no air conditioning during the heat wave but that’s to be expected in a hotel a few hundred years old. They supplied us with fans and with the window open it was quite comfortable.Roommates can be hit or miss. It’s one thing to have the TV on while sleeping as long as it’s not against the others beliefs but just for background noise. Also when sharing a room, people have to remember you are sharing counter space etc and not hog everything. It’s hard enough to live with people you know well, but total strangers need to sit and make decisions on things before the trip. I don’t blame the company though for a bad roomie. Some people lie about what they are really like. When traveling overseas, just remember things ARE different. Don’t be some spoiled American that hates the differences. If you can’t accept that things can be different in other countries, then don’t go. Our tour leader made sure everyone got to see what they wanted to see and had a good time. Can’t wait to go again.

I signed up for a tour of Great Britain, over a year in advance. I put my down payment in June 2018 and the tour started July 2019. I still have the email receipt. I went with the roommate option under the knowledge that the company had ample time to find me a suitable roommate. I mean why ask the roommate questions, if you are going to ignore them? I am a non-drinker, that watches TV to go to sleep and I snore. You roomed me with an alcoholic racist that would get drunk every night and go into racist rants about how she hated Muslims and they were ruining the planet, London is a shithole because of the Muslims and then she went on to rant that Baltimore is a shithole because of the ****ger Elijah Cummings. She would wake me up every time I snored. Which is all the time. So I was getting no sleep thanks to this roommate setup. I was suppose to have a roommate but the company messed up because my original had paid to have her own room and this hot mess of person was suppose to room with the "tour leader". Either the company put me with an incompatible roommate (knowingly) so the "tour leader" could have her own room or the "tour leader" did on her own. Which one, I don't know. The tour was very, very disorganized. The so-called "tour leader" had no idea what she was doing. First, there were major problems getting to the first hotel from the airport. The drivers didn't wait for delayed flights, a driver was suppose to pick up multiple people but didn't wait for them. All the while the tour leader checked-in her room, while the other paying customers didn't have their rooms yet and went out on the town in London. She didn't wait at the hotel for the other customers not did she make sure everyone had a ride. The "tour leader" never knew where we were going, she never called ahead to the hotels or restaurants, or tours to let them know that we were coming. Our hotel in York didn't have air-conditioning, and the hotel stated that they reported it to the company that there was no ac, in July during a heat wave. And what did our "tour leader" do, checked herself into a different hotel. WOW!!!!! Great leadership there, a majority of the time another paying customer would have to take charge and make decisions because our "tour leader" was only there for a free vacation. This tour was so poorly organized it's pathetic. The only thing worst organized than this tour was the CIA's Bay of Pigs Operation. I could on and if anyone wants everything that went wrong, just leave a reply because I'm tired of typing. One last thing, getting in contact with the company and the "tour leader" was non-existent. I attempted to call the company about a month prior, left a voice mail and my number on the website...crickets. I finally emailed them and it took three days to get back to me. The "tour leader" sent her number in an email and said to call with questions, I called left a very detailed voicemail...again crickets. If I am going to go overseas in a foreign land, I need to know that I am doing business with a company that will ensure that I don't get lost, will know what to do if I get hurt, or knows what to do in-case of an emergency and this company id not it. I am fully confident that if something happened to one of the older people on this tour that our sorry "tour leader" would not know what to do and the paying customer would be left. In fact, on the morning that every body was leaving for the airport, she even said that she got them to the hotel and that all she cares about. Single people find somewhere else to get a good vacations, the hotels were worth what we paid and we didn't get to go to half of the sites that the website stated. This place is the worst.

This travel agency customer service has been below satisfactory. I called to book a trip to Hawaii which they said there was availability and to expect a confirmation within 24 hours. I was also told not to book a flight until I receive confirmation, which was in order. However, I did not hear back until more than 48 hours later which by that point all flight prices had increased. I called their office four to six times to get updates as well as emailed the help line. The travel agent apologized repeatedly and seem to empathize with my situation; however, when I got a response it was not via phone it was via email simply stating that they could not accommodate me at the price which they had charged me and I would need to pay an additional $600+ in order to travel with the group. There was no offer on behalf of the company to compromise or to negotiate with me based off of the inconvenience and the cost of airline tickets which had increased while I was waiting over 24 hours beyond what they promised. the travel agent had memorized my phone number by the time I had called after the 48-hour mark and greeted me on the phone by first name. I have been trying to call and reach them since they sent me the email requesting an additional $640 and have yet to receive a call back. I have left two thorough voicemails requesting a call back, as well, with no response. I only think that it is fair and appropriate that when a company does not meet their end of the agreement that there needs to be some sort of compensation for willing customer. The extra cost is for me to have my own room and on the website that was advertised as a convenient options however it is not my fault that they overbooked the trip and I do not have the option to book with another person. There has been lack of transparency through this process. I did my part and paid the full price for the vacation upfront as requested. I highly do not recommend this organization for a travel agency. There clearly are issues with internal communication. Additionally there appears to be no intentions by the company to ensure that a customer is satisfied.

What a great trip we had. It was well planned and we were able to visit many important historic sites. I liked that there was a good mix between walking and local sightseeing transportation. I really liked the other prople on the tour and I think we all enjoyed the free time we had to shop or go on our own to visit something we wanted to see. Also liked that some meals were included and that we had the option to choose our own restaurant a few times for dinner, liked the farewell dinner as a group. Made some great friends and I am sure we will all travel with you again in the future. I see some great trips coming up.

Amazing company to work with. Everyone is super friendly and goes out of their way for you. They have amazing deals and the best excursions. I would highly recommend using them for all your vacation needs.

The Best Single Travel experience has been one of the easiest and heart warming experiences, I have looking at over the years. The many photos and checking the prices, are easy. Love how with just a click I could go on the pre trusted journey to places, I want to go seeing that others have enjoyed the experience earlier the photos change as pages are update often giving a newness to the site.

Have had several awesome trips with Best Single Travel and met some very nice people. Beats traveling alone and trips have many excursions for you to go on as well as numerous activities
