Excellent Course. My team are currently sitting the Advanced Professional Certificate in Investigative Practice (APCIP) - BTEC Level 7 course from Bond Solon. All of the trainers have been of the highest quality and very experienced in their particular subjects. The support team have also been great in organising the courses, some of which we've done face-to-face, some online. I couldn't recommend them enough.
Really superb training. Useful, relevant, extremely well presented by Meena Wells. Thank you!
A full two days which is quite intense, but Mr Jones made sure to let us ask questions and kept asking if we had any. The course materials are also excellent so any gaps in memory process, we can refer back. Mr Jones' delivery of the course module was exceptional, coming from not only years of direct experience, but an ability to really deliver the knowledge to a very diverse group. I look forward to my next module!
Great course. Well structured, relevant and up to date content. Good presenter who kept delegates well engaged, despite covering a lot of ground. Good balance of group and break out activity.
A very good session. Long day and quite intense but I felt much better prepared having had the time with Isabel. Few of us are familiar with what being a witness involves and at the end of the day I was much clearer on what was expected.
Just completed 1st of the 2 day course and really enjoyed. Well done Mac as talked alot today and voice tone relaxing and calm but interacting. Slides clear, concise and interesting. Legal stuff can be dry but you brought it alive and made it relevent and interactive. Worked well with the group. Good knowledge of health and our work and that is positive for health workers as 'others' don't always understand or appreciate what is involved in our work. Good range of case studies. Good use of the knowledge and expertise in the virtual room. You had a good sense of humour and fun. More small and frequent breaks please as long day. Looking forward to day 2.
Excellent two day course, with lots of relevant material that I'll use in practice. Delivered online in a very relaxed and engaging way. I would thoroughly recommend
Six hours of witness familiarisation with Fay. Outstanding experience with many good tips for the real thing, and two sessions of role playing. Nul points for my first effort, but better second time round, thanks to feedback on the first.
Today I have attended Day one safeguarding supervision training. It was really useful to hear how other people see their supervision in order to learn how I as a supervisor may be perceived. My social style outcome is great to know to understand how others see me in both positive and negative ways and how I can adapt to better support those with a different social style. Thanks Paul
I have just attended a one day witness skills course - coroner's court. I found the course content very informative, the course trainer Cath Brown very professional and friendly. I would recommend both course and trainer to anyone who is interested in this kind of training.
Just completed Clinical Leadership in Safeguarding training, it was very informative. Francesca was a great tutor. A great and really useful training session over the past 2 days. Many thanks
Very practical course would recommend
I attended the report writing day and the courtroom skills course online and found this course incredibly useful. The trainer was very engaging and knowledgeable. This course is perfect for those who are new to statement writing and have never been to court. It's also equally important to those who have some experience as you are bound to learn something new. I would give this course 5/5!
I attended (virtually) a one day course on writing medial reports for legal proceedings. The course was well structured, the trainer superb (a barrister I think) and the day challenging and informative. Cannot recommend highly enough.
I was somewhat sceptical of the course being delivered via MS TEAMS instead of in person but it actually worked really well. The topics covered were so much more than just courtroom skills too with law and interview techniques. Rob was very knowledgeable and explained things brilliantly and was very friendly and helpful (even during the cross examination at the end!) Thanks to Karen also who joined us in the cross examinations; she too being friendly and helpful. All in all a brilliant course - highly recommended.
100% value for money - 100% time well spent - 100% expert tuition - 100% improvement in confidence as EW. Having already appeared in several court cases this training was in many way retrospective training. Oh how I wish I'd had this training before those cases. I now how full confidence in my abilities to act as an EW, fully understand my role COMPLETELY and have already put this excellent training to successful use. My Barrister throughout training (Richard) has been superb and opens up the inner legal door to reveal exactly how all the legal parts work and your role within it. I'll finish as I started.....100% book this course.
Jointly presented by Sue Inker and Max Duddles. Informative, clear and measured with some enjoyable topical references ! Evidence of knowledge of Northern Ireland legislation ; interesting to see similarities and divergence from E&W . Excellent overview of decision making, integrating legislation, ethics, values, standards, accountability and staff rights.
The course was delivered online via zoom with 19 participants which worked surprisingly well. The course director was knowledgable and friendly and we had great group interaction across all professional fields contributing to the learning. I left with important information and a level of understanding to take my existing experience of medicolegal reporting forward with a more polished and professional grounding.
I recently completed the Civil Law and Procedure 2-day course during the Covid-19 lockdown. The course was delivered via Zoom and this form of delivery did not compromise communication with either the facilitator or other delegates. We were able to have large group discussions / teaching and also complete small group work, using on-line break-out rooms. The course material were easily accessible and the end of course exam was completed on-line with no difficulties. I have been extremely impressed with the quality of the course and will consider completing other Bond Solon courses remotely in the future.
