Thanks to Chrystal and Jo for putting up with my many alterations and changes. Hope to use you again in the future but with an understanding that I need to map out the whole project and design. You replicated every part of my design including faithful colours which was excellent. The online proof was very good and I would not need a hard copy proof next time to check the quality. Only one niggle that I would have liked the option to mix gloss pages in with the flat pages so that the photographs showed with a better finish. I would have happily paid for that option but apparently that is not possible? Having said that, they were very well produced and I had no issue with the quality at all. Communication between Chrystal and the design team seemed to go awry sometimes meaning that the project slipped by a few weeks overall. Thank you again to the whole team though for a good job. Sep 26,2023Despite having placed similar orders many times in the past, when regardless of other options, covers were always printed full colour, our latest order was printed with black and white covers. Apparently this is because self-cover booklets are printed throughout in either full colour or black and white, you can't have black and white inside pages and a full colour cover. It doesn't say this anywhere during the quote process, and it is unclear whether reprints of existing jobs will be printed under the original spec or the new spec, in which case everything will have to be started again as new jobs (which is more expensive). This makes me seriously question if this company is a reliable partner going forward. I'm still waiting for a response from the company to my query.

Sep 21,2023Excellent service, though the ordering experience could be improved. Customer support was very helpful and responsive, and the quality of the books was very good (especially considering they were around 50% cheaper than other printers) Placing the order was a little troublesome as you can only upload 5 files at a time (I had 76 files), and there is little or no information on what they need for the back cover and spine (one image for the layout, or individual files? What dims?) I took a guess and what I sent them worked. Delivered on time, though the lead time of 7-10 working days from proof approval is longer than most. I elected for the online proof as there wasn't time to get a physical proof. It was relatively accurate but they could give a better idea of how much page is lost to the binding (luckily I allowed enough space but the online proof was no help). This would have been a 5 star review if the ordering process were easier and the online proof was more accurate.
