I chose Scott as my coach to support me with some changes I needed to make and to help me with my career ambitions. I always left my coaching sessions with Scott with enhanced clarity and confidence as well as motivation to take action. Scott really helped me identify what was important to me, challenged me when needed and made me think about my challenges from different perspectives. I really feel that through his questioning, his attentive listening and his genuine care, I have been able to reach breakthroughs that I never would have reached by myself. As a result, for the duration of our coaching period, I have launched new projects, achieved things that were totally outside of my comfort zone, took brave decisions and got a pay rise and a promotion at work. I can truly say that my sessions with Scott have been the best investment I have made for myself as they have propelled me to another level when it comes to my career and wellbeing.
The first session started with a fear of coming across as too negative, but by the end of the session, felt completely at ease and safe to be myself. We had a great few sessions together, it helped me understand how my personal priorities are important and how embracing it, it's just part of a more amazing journey. This was a company package so we had to stop after a number of sessions, but really wish more companies would do this for their teams. Thank you, Scott, for allowing me to be myself and showing me that every step counts, no matter how small or big.

May 29,2024Having transitioned from a 23 year teaching career to a hybrid management role in the charity sector, I’ve found Scott’s coaching sessions incredibly beneficial. We never meet in person as we live at opposite ends of the country but we walk and talk on the phone and it’s so refreshing to step away from my screen and get out into nature for our chats. Having the chance to reflect on my work with someone who can listen patiently and in a non judgemental way has helped to steer my personal growth and guided me to set achievable targets. I can manage my workload more effectively and plan time regularly for more strategic thinking thanks to Scott’s advice. He is so warm, friendly and easy to talk to that our coaching sessions go really quickly and I’m always left feeling positive. I used to think that coaching was only needed when people were facing challenges but it’s actually really helpful to schedule in time for self reflection however things are going. I can’t recommend Coaching in Motion highly enough 🌟
