Our son loves codeverse!! Every instructor he has had has been wonderful.
My daughter really loves Codeverse, she is always enjoying doing new stuff and likes all her guides, they are always nice and helpful.
We have been attending codeverse classes in Naperville for over a year and my boys love it! It’s not only fun for them but they are learning awesome skills! The staff are also wonderful! They are knowledgeable and so great with the kids. We highly recommend!
Codeverse has been a great experience for my son. The teachers are fun and friendly and he really enjoys working with them.
This place is amazing! My son takes weekly classes and also summer camps. They are very organized, friendly and kids really learn a lot I highly recommend it
Great company! Great learning experience for my son. With my busy schedule I get to have my son learn and have fun all while having a guide right by his side. Results of projects are immediate. 5stars
My son loves the session and can’t wait to send me the games that he creates! One of the few activities that easily transitioned during the pandemic.
My son enjoys it. I wish it was a little more affordable.
Actually I want to express how great the camp was. My son loved it and I thought it was a great learning experience.
It is very fun and I loved it I woke up knowing I had class and was excited the whole day
In this time of restrictions and distancing, it was so great to connect with Codeverse. Our son looks forward to his time with the instructors every week. We have incorporated Codeverse as part of our learning from home curriculum.
I discovered Codeverse via a Facebook ad about a week ago after having a miserable experience with another popular online coding company that is marketed towards kids. I was determined to find an amazing coding instructor for my daughter and I did! Julie is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! Super-bright, very kind, and she made my daughter feel comfortable, which was a huge confidence boost! She spoke clear, fluent English (without an accent) which was a major plus for us because English is our first language, and my daughter is new to coding. Amana was so excited about her experience, she literally counted down to her next coding with Julie all week this week! Thank you for your commitment to extraordinary, quality service! Making the decision to continue with this service after the trial session, was a "no-brainer"!😊💕
engaging activity and a good way to introduce my daughter on coding and logic. had some issues with the platform time to time unfortunately.
This has been a positive educational experience while fostering our son’s interest in technology and coding. The instructor’s are fun, encouraging and experts in what they do. Very pleased!
1. In nearly every online class, I had to help troubleshoot an issue with either no sound, no video or something else. Sometimes it only took a minute, but other times 5 minutes felt like an hour. I think it actually took 15 minutes once or twice. Obviously, we’re both struggling and making adjustments during this pandemic. But having a 7 year old get used to a disappointing start to each Codeverse session makes it even more challenging for him to enjoy it. 2. We were on a noon schedule for quite a while, then one day we weren’t. When I called to ask what happened they said I need to sign up again but when I tried to get the same convenient noon time, it was taken. We chose the 3pm slot, but with all the limited things to do as is it these days, this time slot prevented us from doing things we wanted to do. Hard to drive somewhere far unless we left super early or started at 4 pm which is rather late.
My daughter is loving it. My only concern is that she is not being pushed to actually start memorizing the code instead of just retyping it. She doesn’t want to do the badges bc she would have to come up with some of the code herself. I just wish they would insist that she does it.
the program is great and my son has a great time, its fun but still i do not understand why they cannot have the same instructor ?; every class is with somebody different and it is not clear to me in this learning system how you know the level of skills that kids are learning when every class is with somebody different, how you evaluate how good or bad they are doing something when there is not an obvious following up system. also i noticed you do not leave any homework or practice assignments?
So far it is pretty good, all the instructors are pretty knowledgeable and good with the kids. However, the programming system itself need a boost, the network lagging issue since day one has no change and there are also bugs can't be fix if you don't follow the code given from each project. Some item in the tool box has different physic setting, for example, you can put apple on the tree and when you click the tree it will fall, but cat has somehow a different physic setting, it can not be pin on the tree like apple and will get push out of the tree. Little things like this is a bit disappointing, I believe if they debug each item more closely, it can make the whole experience better.
Codeverse is fine for the first initial steps of coding, but we reached everything there was to do. The guides/teachers were just okay, some engaging and some not at all. Not a very personable experience. I honestly don't know if I would recommend this to others.

Aug 21,2020Tutors are usually awesome and patient. But they’ve struggled with the technology interface, specifically the video chat feature that they replaced zoom with. For 4 straight classes we spent 15 minutes just trying to get the video working. Hope the can get that straightened out.
