Jul 25,2024Purchased a pergola off Container Door, 6-7 louvres were a different shape so that section didn’t close correctly, after emails to get replacements sent my builder removed the louvres and had them reshaped to fit, we then received an email offering to replace the louvres, buggar! I was out of pocket for several hundred dollars that it took to fix the problem. Have contacted Container Door for some form of compensation, to their credit they came back offering replacement louvres and reimbursement of my builders cost which was awesome. The product is great value and now looks great, 25% cheaper than anyone else 👍

Bought a louvre system and pergola drop down in Dec 2023, supposed to be delivered March 2024 and have had 3 delay notices, now meaning the order may or may not be here in AUGUST!! For the savings they claim, it's not worth the hassle when you can purchase in country/locally for an extra 10-15%. Not happy at all.

Dec 13,2023Buyer beware! Ordered Xmas presents and paid for in August, have had 4 delays and doesnt look likely that we will get our goods before Xmas which is extremely upsetting. Wont be purchasing from them ever again.

Nov 03,2023Products I purchased are good BUT my purchase included 3 products in 1 order from the buy now category. This was processed as 3 separate orders & 2 were charged over $21.00 delivery & the 3rd at 17.70 = $59.85 - but only 1 delivery charge appeared when completing the total order. I've had no response to several emails & they put 2 sets of items in 1 box, reducing their own delivery costs, with no refund of the excessive delivery costs they charged and still no response to emails. Resulting in an expensive transaction for me & some money for nothing for them. I will not buy from container door again. Reading Container Door response below, they have NEVER responded to my emails and have NEVER refunded any money for this very excessive delivery charge. Their response is not the truth.🤨🤬

Feb 08,2023Ordered an item. Sale was complete and credit card charged for $2245. Then received an email from their Customer Service Team Leader stating they had made a mistake with the price and I could either pay $1154 more or get a refund. Blatant breach of the Fair Trading Act. Fradulent and dishonest company. I will be seeking legal action against them. Under the FTA, a trader cannot ask the customer to pay more unless the customer knew before the sale was complete that the price was incorrect or the price was clearly a mistake (example from CAB is a decimal place or missing zero). Edit: Based on your response, I see you do not understand the FTA. You completed the sale by charging card. You did not advise me of the incorrect price before the completion of the sale and the price was not clearly a mistake. The cause of the error does not matter, that is an issue for you to fix internally.

Dec 15,2022Good communication, and arrived in expected time, but I found the product (a swing seat) isn't the best quality. It feels sturdy enough but there's pretty poor stitching on the cushions, which are not attached so slip down, and now 4 days later a button has come loose. I won't be buying anything from this company again.

Nov 25,2022I pre-ordered a wood fired oven in August and due October than November . Then December then later in December 15 weeks and a company full of lies . In saying this staff great and helpful . But company still advertising the product when they could not supply existing orders . Keen to take your money and hold it for 14 weeks . Finally got money back and went elsewhere. I would not recommend doing business with this company

Still waiting, waiting, no response, listening to excuses, waiting, waiting, hearing bullsh??s, waiting and waiting….absolutely shocking service when you have our money!! Mar 01,2022I have ordered a pergola in September last year, now it is March still didn't receive it. Expected delivery was November last year. When I called them in December first week they said it is arrived in the country and will take couple of weeks to deliver. Very poor communication, today I tried to call them four occasions, no one answered the call. Very bad experience.

Feb 27,2022I have bought a pergola and 3 screens. I paid in October last year. I haven’t received what I have paid for, instead I’ve received excuses and nonsense emails. You have blamed others for your delays. The delivery time has passed since Dec last year. There is no delivery time confirmed. There are hundreds of negative reviews about your services. You are liars. Why did you ask for payment if you are not able to deliver on time?

Jan 15,2022Purchased kayak in November for dispatch date 10th December. It is now 15 Jan and no update. Received one email in December about delays. But over a month and no communication is very poor. I have called ~4 times and get the same response "kayak is in a warehouse in Manurewa and waiting to be delivered to our warehouse". This just does not make sense to me. It's a shame that I have to call for updates, rather than get a weekly update now that we are over 5 weeks from initial dispatch date. I just want my Kayak summer will be over soon 😩

Rec'd one email back that someone was checking the warehouse and woudl get back to me, that was 2 weeks ago. Again no responses to email or calls. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. Any saving does not outweigh the stress and frustration.

Mar 04,2025Orders are delayed. Poor communication service. Been trying to call the store for any updates but the phone just kept on ringing. Would understand if the line is busy but it was not. No way of getting updates. Not a good experience as a first time buyer. Would not consider buying from the store again. Disappointing!
