May 17,2023What a shuck and jive operation!! To begin with I checked their website about parking in the area because this Mickey Mouse operation doesn't keep enough operators to answer the phones. The only thing it said was to arrive 30-60 minutes early. So I showed up 90 minutes early but was still unable to find a place to park. My problem?? I was traveling with my family in my 25' RV. According to the local commerce they have parking for RVs about 1/2 mile from the riverboat yet nobody associated with the riverboat company could tell me that. Instead the manager took the opportunity to try to redicule and asked why the other patrons had been able to find spots. At this point I missed my boat,I've been treated rudely and disrespected and had Cool Destinations trying to run some kind of game on me with the Riverboat company.All I can say to them is I hope that $140 lasts a long time. Because I'm sure the damage from this review will. I was asked to update my experience, after I promised to write as many poor reviews as humanly possible and got the local commerce involved, Cool Destinations eventually stopped playing games and passing the buck to the "local vendor" and refunded my money. Just to set the record straight!! I waited around until the boat returned, parked in a no parking zone trying to find the office or somebody associated with the boat/ tour compy. This information was not on my tiickets with Cool Destinations. I eventually located the office just after the boat returned. The manager was not in a hurry dealing with other customers, she was simply very rude, ignorant, obnoxious,and undeserving of her position! Furthermore the suggestion that this area is a federal landmark is a joke!! It is more like the equivalent of a prohibition era dive joint where rowdy unruly drunken behavior is the rule of the day. Everybody is uptight rude and disrespectful. To further suggest that I should in the future leave a 2 hour window for "parking a vehicle of that size" when you clearly know you have parking for RVs 1/2 mile away shows the hight of your ignorance!! I have traveled through nearly every state in this country, I don't need YOUR travel advice!! .

Sep 28,2022DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Three days before the tour, these ass clowns cancelled my Bourbon Tour booking. Live chat with their agents only produces balderdash and lies! This is a scam! Don’t fall for it!

Feb 21,2022Booked through cool destinations and asked about the cancellation policy and she said to read cancellation policy which states-If you cancel at least 7 calendar days in advance of the scheduled departure or commencement time, there is no cancellation fee. I had to cancel (3 months in advance) and was charged around $80 for fees. It was not stated on my invoice or in the cancellation policy. According to Cool Destination they do have it in their refund policy but the refund policy is not located in the help section on top of page and they do not tell you look there if you cancel. Book directly through the vendor instead of Cool Destination which will probably be cheaper. After I disputed my charges I received an email stating - Please be aware we are treating this as theft since the policy was clearly presented. Which they were not clearly stated and I asked several times the cancellation policy. I replied back and then they didn't answer me and even sent a follow up email.

Oct 08,2021I highly recommend this tour, it was amazing. We had perfect weather so the sunset was simply amazing. The crew we had were outstanding, very funny and interactive. The wine choices were good and the small plate pairings were very nice.

Sep 16,2021Extraordinary experience even though we were first timers. Our tour guide helped us learn the basics and adapt to the boat's feel on water. He then took us on a full round trip all around the island. We skied over all kinds of water, open ocean water to calm channel waters, full throttle to gently wading. Our group developed a friendly banter and raced against each other, thus having more fun and giving in equal measure. Highly recommended for anyone. Set aside your worries and overcome your fears, y'all!

Jul 22,2021Company does not stick to cancellation policy. Cancelled 7 days in advance, but they insisted on still charging me cancellation policy, even though their policy clearly states there is no fee at 7 days.

Jul 15,2021This is a consolidator website out of FL that does bookings for various tour companies. Their customer service is awful and dishonest. If you can call and book directly with the actual tour operator do that. We made a booking and after hitting send realized we need to modify. We called them within 2 minutes. They charged us 100% fee - effectively there's not cancellation or change permitted. They do not make that clear up front in their FAQs. There is only a 48 cancellation fee notice in the order confirmation which is received AFTER the sale. Very dishonorable and dishonest. Also wasted time giving us the runaround and refusing to answer the phone. Avoid at all costs.

May 16,2021Nate, Ellen and Matthew were great Guides! Fun trip out to mangroves where we kayaked and saw all sorts of wildlife, followed by some great snorkeling and drinks on the trip back. Highly recommend Danger Charters.

Oct 14,2023The information about the homes, from when they were built and then through the history, was fascinating,informative and yes scary. Our tour guide Quinton told the stories well with passion and humor where it fit in. I would recommend everyone, especially locals, experience this tour. I would do it again it was so good.
