DAN è stata eccezionale hanno risposto prontamente alla richiesta d’emergenza e messo a disposizione tutto il necessario , attivato il pronto soccorso più vicino e barca veloce per andare alla capitale,per il primo soccorso e il mio ricovero in clinica con conseguente camera iperbarica.

DAN communicated with the hyperbaric chamber physician and operators when I had dcs on a dive vacation. They made it easy to get treatment. They checked up on me afterwards to verify my recovery was progressing. I told them it was progressing very slowly and they helped guide me through a series of doctors and tests and an easy manner. They left me with a strong impression of caring for the human, which you don't find with insurance companies.

Durante una recente urgenza medica in Thailandia, ho avuto la fortuna di poter contare sull’assistenza di DAN Europe, e non posso che esprimere la mia più profonda gratitudine. In un momento così delicato e carico di preoccupazione, DAN si è rivelato un vero e proprio punto di riferimento, dimostrando non solo grande competenza e rapidità, ma anche una straordinaria umanità. Dal primo contatto, mi sono sentito ascoltato, compreso e supportato. Ogni passo è stato gestito con una professionalità impeccabile: dalla valutazione della situazione alla comunicazione con i medici locali, fino all’organizzazione logistica e ai consigli pratici. Non si sono limitati a seguire un protocollo, mi hanno accompagnato come persone prima ancora che come professionisti. La velocità con cui hanno risposto, la chiarezza nelle informazioni e la gentilezza in ogni scambio mi hanno fatto sentire al sicuro, anche a migliaia di chilometri da casa. Consiglio DAN Europe a tutti i subacquei e viaggiatori: avere un’assicurazione è importante, ma avere al proprio fianco un team come quello di DAN Europe fa davvero la differenza. Grazie di cuore, DAN. Non vi dimenticherò mai.

I was traveling to the Maldives and later to South Africa. I HAD SOME HEALTH PROBLEMS and DAN HELPED ME IN AN INCREDIBLE WAY. IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE.

incredibly good backup! They call and are really eager to help and they let me speak to a person in my own language who was very professional. My second conversation with them was regarding a more serious diagnosis and I had questions regarding future diving, although they cannot say for sure that I can dive again, I am happy with the very professional and interesting answer and that they offer further discussion if I needed.

I broke my heel in an accident in Indonesia, and had DAN's additional travel cover. Medical expenses were reiumbursed with no hassle or negotiating, and I was flown back immediately after receiving a doctor's note, with the flight paid in advance and airport assistance arranged. All the customer service was friendly, clear and quick. It was really valuable to have this seamless support at a very stressful time... which other companies, in my experience, make even worse to avoid paying out at all the costs. DAN was great, easy to contact and quick to help. Can't recommend it enough and although I hope never to need it again, I'll definitely renew my policy every year!

I highly recommend DAN as your insurance. As most people I got this insurance hoping I would never need to use it. When I actually needed it in an emergency I was very positively surprised. I highly appreciate the quick and easy way to contact the emergency hotline (only needed internet), their quick reaction and that I was directly communicated with a medical specialist in my language. would definitely get insured with DAN again.

Ho contattato il DAN a seguito di un incidente in decompressione, che per fortuna non ha avuto conseguenze gravi. Devo dire che l'assistenza è stata ottima, operatrice e medico estremamente gentili e competenti. Sono stata anche ricontattata in seguito per avere notizie sul mio stato di salute.

I had a diving incident in the Philippines Here I lay in a hospital bed awaiting Dan to approve tests for lung expansion and possible further damage. I am here in the hospital bed 3 hours now Just to explain what happened so far.. Started the contact with them and it seemed quick, they had a doctor call me telling me I need urgent tests Then they told me to call my travel insurance to let them handle it. I told them they don’t support dive incidents and that’s why I paid for Dan gold package. After this,I had no idea where to go for the doctors tests I asked where do I go for them, and they had no idea I had to search around for a hospital ready to make these tests The initial hospital chosen was closed for reforms, so I asked the hotel owner which hospital is able to treat such injuries, he suggested a hospital in Manila, I called Dan and confirmed I would go there 4 hours journey, I arrive, doctors worried to start tests, and Dan tell me they never approved this hospital (even though they did on loadspeaker) and still 3 hours later they have not approved the tests I have received offensive emails from some staff there and am still laying here in the hospital without care, the last one stated :we cannot replace the "emergency services". An absolute disgrace

Just to let you know, DAN has not agreed to refund me for the lost mask because the amount was less than 500 euros... Next time, let's issue me an invoice for that amount, maybe easier and more interesting for the victim cover;)

Durante un corso di apnea a Lanzarote, ho subito la perforazione del timpano. In quel momento ho capito perché il DAN è essenziale per i subacquei: è facile da contattare, offre consigli e supporto medico e amministrativo e copre anche le spese. Il DAN si prende cura dei suoi subacquei con professionalità ed empatia.

Sono stata malata i primi giorni che sono arrivata a lavorare alle Maldive e ho avuto un ottima assistenza con grande aiuto perché potete capire cosa vuol dire stare male lontani da casa, da soli, non capendo esattamente cosa fare e come . I wrongly assumed that my dive insurance DAN Silver covered accidental loss of equipment as well as medical benefits. Got nothing when the live aboard boat that I was on sank and I lost everything. Don't assume that DAN cover equipment, luggage or personal items

Ich hatte im Februar auf der Insel Kuredu einen Tauchunfall und hatte für dies bei DAN eine Versicherung abgeschlossen. Beim Versuch es der Organisation zu melden bekam ich keine Rückmeldung also garnichts. Sie haben mich alleine gelassen. Ich habe es selbst geschafft, es gab selbst im nachhinein keine Reaktion von DAN. DEN VERSICHERUNGSBEITRAG HATTEN SIE JA KASSIERT. Ich mache nie wieder etwas mit DAN.

Haben aufgrund eines Unfalls in Nicaragua die deutsche Nummer angerufen. Wir sind keine Mitglieder und wollten nur um Rat fragen, weil es hier keinerlei Ärzte gibt. Anstatt zu helfen wurden wir belehrt, dass es keine Auskunft für nicht Mitglieder gibt und wir die Hotline bitte nicht blockieren sollen. Statt der 5 minütigen Belehrung hätten sie auch einfach vielleicht kurz ein paar Tipps zum Vorgehen geben können und dafür sorgen, dass wir in Zukunft Mitglied sind. Wirklich sehr schlechter Service und meiner Meinung nach moralisch fragwürdig Personen in Not so die Hilfe zu verweigern. Um auf die Antwort einzugehen: Es wurde uns nicht angeboten über eine andere hotline Informationen zu erhalten. Selbstverständlich ist uns klar, dass das System DAN wirtschaftlich arbeiten muss, weshalb ich in meiner Bewertung ja geschrieben habe, dass wir hätten Mitglieder werden können. Die bewertung bezieht sich natürlich nicht auf die Leistung, da diese uns mit vollumfänglicher nicht hilfreicher Belehrung demonstrativ verweigert wurde.
