Dec 06,2024The online order system is not good at all. Second time I've used it and waited 3 days. Not the fault of my Southport branch, they are really good.... Far easier and quicker to ring them up and have the order delivered within a day and very often a few hours. Won't be using the rubbish online ordering again !!!

Oct 25,2024Popped in today to Newton Abbot branch to buy more materials. Had some items purchased from their store in Torquay to return but oh no - That's not possible! Unhelpful! Went to City Electrical, polite helpful service. No more Denmans for me!

Oct 04,2024Simple enough to purchase and the delivery was straightforward. I was pleasantly surprised it was by a delivery driver from the local branch rather than by parcel carrier from a central warehouse. The only thing that could have been better was the emails between purchase and delivery - I did wonder when it was going to be despatched and arrive.

Aug 02,2024I had ordered a length of cable not it arrived in 3 short lengths. I was then told that I had to reorder and pay again and would eventually get a credit back. So basically I was out of pocket for an error made by Denmans and was told that was the process so I had to suck it up. One of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. Fortunately the local branch has worked hard to try and resolve the matter. Whoever is responsible for group customer service needs to join the 21st century and not try to blame the customer for Denmans error.

Jun 01,2024Shop service very good, but the web-site seems to makes it impossible to search efficiently for certain items because there is no filter option. My example was searching for a specific 25mm cable whereby I had to wade through the list of all cable sizes before finally finding it. This is frustrating enough to make me go elsewhere for online orders.

Feb 21,2024Denmans were great. Product was as described, well packaged and reasonably priced. Delivery was another story. I had 3 promises of delivery times on 3 separate days before it was finally delivered. Not sure where the problem stems from here but my first indication on Monday with 3 time slots on each successive day after to a delivery on Thursday cannot be good.

Dec 20,2023Just to say thanks to the staff at Denmans. Their advice was first rate, they knew exactly what the modern replacement should be. Fitted the new LED downlight with no problems. I have a background of electronics, but I'm not familiar with the regulations etc. I was advised on the correct product for the location. Not intimidating the way some trade counters can be! Nov 23,2023Order arrived reasonably quickly considering some items were on back order. One problem: On plastic conduit inspection Junction boxes, not only do you have to buy lids separately, but there are no lid screws. What use is that?

Nov 17,2023on my 1st encounter found MFT calibration morning advert at the trade counter...my Megga now has shiny new certificate without sending it away.. also helpfull staff definatly recomend and will be using more in the future.

Sep 20,2023Great range of products - I was able to find an exact replacement extractor fan at a good price, so I knew it would fit. I ordered via the web before I realised there was a local store in Dorchester - which was very handy as I mistakenly did not order a low voltage unit; when I realised this the local store quickly arranged a refund and replacement.
