Jul 25,2023My partner and I had the pleasure of booking a photoshoot with Graham, the talented dog photographer, during our visit on a lovely Sunday. Let me just say, it was an unforgettable experience that we will cherish forever. From the get-go, Graham impressed us with his patience and skill in handling our two stubborn terriers. He managed to coax them into the perfect positions, capturing their personalities beautifully. It was evident that Graham has a true passion for working with dogs, and his dedication was commendable. One of the highlights of the photoshoot was the stunning locations Graham chose. He took us out into the countryside, where we had the opportunity to capture some breath-taking nature shots. The setting provided a picturesque backdrop that added an extra touch of magic to the photos. What impressed us most was the lack of rush throughout the entire process. Graham ensured that we had ample time to work with our dogs, allowing them to feel comfortable and relaxed. This approach made all the difference, as it reflected in the genuine expressions and happy faces captured in the photographs. After the photoshoot, we had the pleasure of viewing all the images with Graham's expert guidance. Jul 14,2023The photographer had even written a welcome sign with my dogs names on. I have mobility issues and he took his time with me and the dogs. I love my dogs and I think they're lovely and beautiful but when I looked at the photographs he'd taken I was blown away at how handsome and pretty they looked. It was difficult to edit the photos because they were all such good quality. I wasn't rushed to make decisions I wasn't persuaded into anything at all and the experience I will treasure as well as the photographs when I get them. I would recommend this service as if I had not done this with my elderly dogs I would have regretted as when they're gone they're gone. I will be able to treasure that day forever.

Jun 20,2023We had a really enjoyable fun photo session @ Dogodog Photography studio. Graham is relaxed and friendly and had endless patience handling my cairn terriers, who were newbees to modelling and have a fairly short attention span for concentration. The facilities were good with various indoor props and backdrops and the fields and woods close to the studio offer a wonderful stage for many photo opportunities. The pictures Graham took in the differing environments were excellent. I would definitely recommend.

May 20,2023This was an easy going half a day and Graham has taken an excellent selection of photos from which I made a selection, and I am really looking forward to receiving the finished choices. It is set in a great location for the outside photos, and I am very happy to say this is a well run business that met and exceeded my expectations.

Apr 24,2023Graham was very professional, from the tin of doggy treats to the little squeaky toy he knew how to keep my border terrier focused, which isn’t easy. The location was perfect, with the woods & bluebells backdrop really enhanced the finished pictures. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend his company, as we now have a lifetime memento of our special Dog, Mick & Elsie

We had a hard time choosing our 20 favourite photos as they were all charming. Really recommend. We will treasure our photos forever.

Dec 04,2022I visited Dogodog Photography yesterday and had an amazing experience. My Yorkshire Terrier is 15 this year, and I was keen to get some lovely pictures of her in her prime. Graham was amazing with her, despite her being blind and a bit tricky to work with sometimes. I would definitely recommend this experience as a gift for yourself or a loved one with an important pooch in their life. Thank you so much :)

Nov 16,2022Amazing amazing amazing! Graham was brilliant and made me and our Labrador Lilo so welcome. The studio session was fun and Graham took lots of photos using different backdrops and props and somehow managed to get Lilo to pose beautifully!! We then went out into the woodland, and despite the fact it was raining, Graham went out of his way to make sure we got lots of good photos, and was even happy to lie on the muddy wet ground to get a good shot! The photos are amazing and I was overwhelmed at how lovely they all were. I am so so pleased with the results and we had a fab experience. I highly recommend you book Graham, you won’t be disappointed!

Oct 12,2022Last Sunday my husband and I did something we thought that we would never do -------------we had our two four legged members of the family photographed! We had often passed stands at Country Shows offering photographs or paintings of beloved pets and thought it was a lovely thing to have done but not something we would spend money on. This all changed when we stopped at Dogodog Photography at an event earlier in the year. Graham takes photographs of his canine clients in a studio but what really caught our attention were the wonderful photographs taken outdoors in beautiful woodland. So instead of taking a card and giving the usual line of "great photographs but we will think about it" we paid a deposit and last Sunday, with some trepidation, we arrived at Dogodog headquarters just outside Colchester. There is a saying "don't work with children or animals" but from the moment we arrived we could see that Graham was a natural and it wasn't long before Teasel, our young Black Labrador and Pippin, a very scruffy and busy Working Cocker Spaniel, were dog treats in his hands! Graham uses different backdrops and props such as a gorgeous red leather Chesterfield chair and a plush velvet sofa for his shots and has an amazing lighting system to get the right effect. The studio session was great fun with much laughter and wagging of tails but our time outside for us was the best, particularly on a sunny crisp early winter day with the trees just starting to turn and all the wonderful colours that this time of year brings. Shots in between ferns, poses on logs and even his trademark "Wellie Boot" shot, time passed by very quickly. After a quick lunch in the local pup, whilst Graham sorted out the best photographs for viewing, we returned to the studio to see the results. We went through over 60 shorts and were quite overwhelmed at the images we saw of our dearly loved hounds - no airbrushing or enhancing, just Teasel and Pippin. It was very difficult to reduce the images to the best 20 but we did and rather than have one large wall image we have chosen a beautiful wooden selection box which will contain 20 mounted photographs that we can alternate on the little wooden easel that comes with the package. We had a super day with Graham are really excited about receiving our photograph box in a few weeks time. Teasel and Pippin enjoyed their day too but I think appreciate it is hard work being a model and have decided to stick to the day job of hoovering up after their owners, enjoying daily walks and taking it in turns to try and sneak up on the sofa!

Oct 03,2022Our experience with graham at the studio was amazing! It was a fun day for not only our crazy cocker spaniel but for me and my partner. We were really impressed with the set up and the photos taken - not to mention the poses our dog would do with some treat bribing! The studio and the woods that back onto the building were just amazing. It was a fun day out for all and our dog was absolutely shattered after!! The pictures turned out absolutely incredible and we are SO excited to receive our copies. Graham was lovely and very welcoming, I would recommend his services to anyone!!

Jul 26,2023We had a photoshoot with our Border Collie and had the best day with Graham! He was very patient with our very excited boy, and the woodland walk for photos was lovely - despite the 30 degree heat! Loved all of the pictures so much - it was hard to narrow them down!
