Their expertise and understanding ensured any transactions and negotiations went smoothly, even when there were difficulties during the process, all were fully explained to us and quickly resolved. We greatly appreciated the time and guidance given to us by staff at Dwellings. There were never any difficulties contacting anyone to advise and alleviate any concerns, worries, problems or any lack of understanding, on our part, in an informative, personal, patient and thoughtful manner. We felt, at all times, that we were valued customers. Dwellings customer service is exceptional.

Feb 10,2023Excellent service from the whole team at Dwellings. I sold and purchased my new home via Dwellings who had recommended a solicitor for my property sale and purchase. The Solicitor did a great job in selling my house to free up funds ready for my new purchase. At no fault of Dwellings or their recommended solicitor I had to change the solicitor for the purchase as they were not on my mortgage lenders panel (biggest mistake I ever made). I instructed another firm of Solicitors and had no end of issues with them delays and no communication at all even when I told them that the chain involved in this transaction will collapse if we don’t complete, they just did not care at all. In the end I had to sack them and re-instruct the firm originally recommended by Dwellings who picked up the file and within 2 weeks managed to get this all wrapped up. A very well done to Dwellings and the wider team involved in this transaction. Highly recommended and Yas the owner is always on hand to advice on any issues as he is a Solicitor himself. I remember him being on a teams calls when he was on holiday to get my transaction completed. Thank you guys and I really appreciated your patience in this. 😊

Jan 11,2023Simply the best agents I have ever had dealings with!!! I purchased a home from Dwellings & I sold with another agent, the biggest mistake I have ever made (read further on). I called Dwellings to arrange a viewing they put me on hold, called the vendor & arranged the viewing in 5 minutes. Dwellings answered my questions and always responded almost immediately. We Sold our house with Haart at the cost of almost £2200 inc vat!! I am aware that vendor for my new home are only paying £499 plus vat, this is mistake number 1 I could have saved myself thousands by going with Dwellings over Haart. Anyway it gets more interesting the buyer of my house Haart referred them to DC Law and they got a decent commission for the referral from them. There were talks of exchange and completion in Oct, but the mortgage offer for my buyer had expired, Haart & their affiliated solicitors did not bother to check anything. DC Law stopped responding to Haart even though they act as an introducer for them. I informed Dwellings of our predicament, even though we are only buying from them, they went over & beyond really helped me with the sale of my home. Our buyer needed to sign documents, Dwellings offered to attend to his house and sign docs and hand deliver back to his solicitors, absolute no financial incentive for them to do that & they even offered to pay for taxis for my buyer to attend the DC laws offices. I feel guilty that I went Haart who caused all this mess for me and took £2250 from me for the privilege, but Dwellings worked incredibly hard , thought outside the box , practically stopped my chain from collapsing and didn’t charge me single penny. If you are selling & you want someone who is going to charge you a fortune, give you a glossy folder, give you a brilliant sales talk , then use Haart, if you want to save yourself a fortune & want the job done properly then only go to Dwellings.

Nov 29,2022I have today completed the sale of my house on Waterloo Street. I called 3 agents out & decided to go with Dwellings as they were by far the cheapest. I got a better service for £499 than you would have at any other estate agent with their premium package which was £2500 plus vat. My property was professionally marketed, a professional photographer attended & the quality of the photos were simply fantastic. Dwellings did all the viewing for me, and my property sold in one day. There was always someone available to talk to or answer any questions almost immediately and out of hours. I wouldn't go anywhere else but Dwellings. Best of all, I saved a huge sum of money that I can now go spend on Christmas presents.

Their professional approach to house selling is second to none. Dwellings were the cheapest and saved me a lot of money. For a low fee of just £499, professional photos, accurate floorplans, a virtual tour, and a first class service were provided. had a difficult time with the buyers, and Dwellings were more than happy to go above and beyond to get things done and get us to the finish line. The service has been excellent, with Dwellings demonstrating professionalism and efficiency throughout. Their personable approach made every call a pleasure. Dwellings were always on the other end of the phone or an email to answer any questions I had, and I couldn’t recommend them enough when selling a property. Overall, it's been an excellent experience, and I have no regrets about choosing Dwellings to sell my property.

Oct 27,2022We were looking to sell a deceased relatives house and were looking to keep costs low. We had never heard of Dwellings before but contacted them due to their competitive prices. We were looking at purple bricks, but because we had to use our deceased relatives solicitor, who was the executor of the will, purple bricks wanted their fees paid upfront. This wasn’t an issue for Dwellings and they were doing a promotion for the month of October where they listed your property for free. No catch. So it was a no brainer. They were on the ball. Photos were taken and we were more than satisfied with them and the listing itself. We had plenty of viewings booked within a couple of days and the house sold within a week. Communication was great with fast responses. We were even given some sound advice despite being unable to use them for the conveyancing. I can safely say that having recently moved house myself with a different estate agent, my experience with Dwellings so far has been much better. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. We are now working through the process of completing the sale.

Oct 21,2022We Sold our house in Wyllie Mews Burton with Dwellings. Definitely a five star service and a fraction of the cost compared to other agents in Burton. We were in a chain (buying from another agent), Dwellings really went over and beyond and intervened with our purchase. Really good advice, helpful with paperwork, happy to open up the office for us at any hour. Communication spot on, reply promptly. If you are looking for an agent who doesn’t charge a fortune to sell and that will help you right through to the end the Dwellings are the agent for you.

I have just brought Foston Avenue from Dwellings from viewing the property (05/08/22) to getting the keys (20/10/22) only took us exactly 2.5 months, 76 days! Yes 76 days! I now understand why they call themselves Burton’s only Legally trained estate agent. I have been actively looking for a house in that area of Burton for the last two years, in that time I viewed several properties with various Burton agents. The usual question we got asked by other agents have you got anything to sell, my response being NO. Obviously if I has something to sell the agent would offer their services as they want to make money, I get that, but I am of the opinion they should be more focused in selling the house they are advertising than being interested if I have something to sell. Clear, straight to the point advice from day one, no nonsense and I really liked that. We learnt that the owner is a Solicitor, whilst his firm don’t act for clients, he clearly knows the process from start to finish and this is where Dwellings really excelled. Also I work 9-5, Mon – Fri, they opened the office for us at 8PM so that I could sign paperwork and posted back to the solicitors recorded delivery, no agent does that for you. Thank you Team I would recommend to anyone buying or selling give Dwellings a call.

The customer service has been amazing every step of the way, keeping me updated on progress and informed of any changes. With regards to marketing your property they use a professional photographer who was able to put together a great virtual tour and accurate floor plan to really show the property in the best light. I would highly recommend Dwellings Estate Agents if you are looking to sell your house.

My house sold quickly for a good price--neither over-inflated nor undervalued. My one regret was not taking up the solicitor services they offered, as the third-party solicitor that I used slowed the whole process down. Overall, Dwellings are an estate agent that get the job done well and offer the services need to sell your house hassle-free--and at a good price, too!

May 05,2022We sold our property on Shobnall Street via Dwellings. Naturally we called out three agents and got valuations/quotes for selling. Dwellings were the best priced out of the bunch and great value for money, we went with them and never looked back. From listing to completion 6 weeks. One of the agents valued ridiculously high in a bid to impress us and go with them, my friend (surveyor & unknown to the agent) was present and said the bank would never lend that amount to anyone purchasing a mortgage. His reply we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it a definite NO NO!

Apr 30,2022Over the last 15 years I have brought/sold 4 properties in Burton - Dwellings, what a breath of fresh air from the usual bunch of estate agents in Burton. They charge a fraction of the price and do a much better job than those I have used previously. What I particularly like about Yas is that he is very straight talking, far from your typical agent who is interested in charging you a ridiculous fee to sell a house. It was very clear to me from the outset that Yas cares about his business, very professional and is a very intelligent man. Having asked how they can afford to charge such low fees it appears their bigger vision is to merge with a solicitors firm. The communication and speed these guys work at is phenomenal, always available on Whatsapp, they definitely do go over and beyond. In comparison a friend of mine decided to sell her property with another agent in town who gave her high valuation simply to please her and guess what she has 0 viewings in 4 weeks and the fee charged to her was 1%, she will definitely be switching to Dwellings. If you are looking for a dedicated no nonsense estate agent who doesn’t charge you a fortune to sell your house then Dwellings is definitely the way forward.

Sold my property in one day, completely different experience to our previous house sale which another estate agent did in the town. They used a third party professional photographer to do the pictures, which were brilliant. They charge a fraction of the price compared to any other estate agent and you get a red carpet service. Always happy to answer questions and help, I would highly recommend anyone wanting to sell your house to get in touch with dwellings. The owner is a solicitor not your typical estate agent salesman, very clever chap and wish this company brilliant growth.

From first enquiry, Yas (the owner) came around the next day, on a Sunday i ll just add! He provided immediate valuation, advice and arranged a professional photographer. Our house was on all major property searches within 1 week. They are the only legally trained estate agent in the area. Yas is a professional that knows his stuff, hes fast, dedicated and available 24/7 .. He has also provided us with contacts and advice with our next house move at no extra cost. He's a genuine nice guy that's passionate about his business and providing a good service. Dwellings really do go above and beyond. All viewing arrangements done via email. None of this messing around, with numerous phonecalls. The photographer's photos were spot on. high quality, and a virtual tour provided. This really showed our home at its best. You don't get this with most other agents from what I've seen. Dwellings really do provide a gold star service at a fraction of the price In comparison to other estate agents . Hortons quoted over 2k same advertising and no virtual tour " Purple brick 1k you do all the work yourself and the agent offered to take photos on his mobile ! Edwards and burchell, waste of time in my opinion. They couldn't get back to me on houses I wanted to view on several occasions, so there's know way they were selling mine. From initially arranging a viewing to collecting the keys to our new house Yas made sure we understood the process and explained everything as we went along. He was very hands on, always contactable and responsive to our queries whether it was past 17:00 or the weekend, you’d always get a quick response. Definitely a guy that has that ‘can do’ attitude. Sep 23,2024The agents are complete crooks they wasted my time and my survey fee. DON'T TRUST THESE AGENTS. We agreed a price on the property the memo of sales were sent out I booked in a surveyor. When the surveyor came the locks were change and my broker told me that they no longer were selling the property to me. NO COMMUNICATION I had to be told this information from my broker. These agents didn't communicate with me for 1 month and they kept on assuring me that all was good. If I did the same to them they wouldn't like it AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
