We love being outside. It's not uncommon to find us fishing, hiking, biking, or floating down the river. We are fortunate to be based in Montrose, Colorado where outdoor activities are abundant throughout all seasons.

Ed's fly shop is so desperate to make sales that they're willing to send you a different product from what you ordered. I do realize that there are limitations in what's in stock, but send an email first before processing an order and then sending a different item. Unhelpful customer service and snarky responses.

The order took over 10 days to arrive. Given the cost of shipping, which I thought was high, that is unacceptable. I shipped a two-piece fly rod to Washington State, and another to New Hampshire, both of which arrived in two days. The shipping cost was roughly three times the cost of your shipping two leaders and some strike indicators to me.

Sadly the store was out of stock for 1/2 of my order, I received a refund but no explanation, I’m assuming only one of the items I purchased were available? I would have preferred that the item would have been sent when back in stock, I know managing online mail order business is challenging to ensure prompt service! Hopefully the product will be available in the very near future! Thank you, Sincerely, Charles Yost

My order was marked as shipped, but was not actually shipped until almost a week after the initial date. I contacted the shop via telephone and e-mail, and was not contacted back on either.

Ed’s got my order together and shipped in very good time. USPS, however was not so fast! Have not had good experience with them recently! The only minor problem with the order was that the OROS indicators were dented in because they were packed in too small of a bag…they will still work! Ed’s is a great fly shop to visit in person, friendly staff and well stocked!

I found everything I was looking for and product was received Yeasterday USPS 7 days total. No Back orders. The Lamson Reels Had no user manual matrial, no directions no parts break down information was a little surprised. Went to the web site to get info, and watched Utube Video

Website is poorly organized/difficult to navigate. Contact email address is no longer valid and primary phone line’s voicemail box is full. Spoke to owner about a sale, got an earful about social/political issues.
