The angents who call people are so annoying pushing you forward and once you say no, they become so disrespectful! Avoid… they says that they work trough government but actually after a good waste of time on the phone they tells you that they actually do not work trough government. Completely avoid!
We have a 5kw solar installation and 10kw battery from Evergreen installed April 2023. There were issues with the inverter install in that it was mis-wired initially and drawing from the grid, raising my energy bills considerably. To their credit once spotted by me they did correct this promptly, refunded the money I’d paid to our energy supplier and said they had removed the engineer responsible from their staff. The system was installed onto a fairly old roof and at the time I asked the pre-sales lady Faye about potential damages and liability should tiles be cracked etc during install. She assured me that Evergreens roofing contractors would make good any damaged tiles. After the install I could see that several tiles had been replaced so I assumed they had made good on their promises. I was wrong, fast forward to autumn/winter 2023 and the roof was pouring in water ruining our house inside. I contacted a local roofing company who said the entire roof had gone, and he advised Evergreen should never of gone ahead with an install on a roof that old. They had used silicon sealant on cracked tiles to bodge it enough to see them clear of the job. Therefore I’m another £20k in the hole for a new roof now on top of the £20k I paid to evergreen for the installation. The Huaewai invertor they used has Wi-Fi issues in that you need their admin password to disable the setup SSID or it will cripple your home WiFi. I had to do the digging on Huaewais forums to resolve this myself as evergreen dismissed this issue. When you try and contact after sales you either get their voicemail which they never ever return or if you do get someone they take your details to ‘look into it’ and don’t get back to you.. Furthermore I had 19 panels installed, one panel has never worked and recently I have had issues with another that they don’t want to help with even though I’ve paid to have it looked at by a local electrician who told me it’s failed optimisers that need replacing. Think really long and hard about spending your money with Evergreen, I fully expect them to wind this company up soon and restart under a fresh name.. It really is shameful aftercare, after spending £20,000.
For anyone who's interested in using Evergreen Energy for installing a heat pump - THINK VERY CAREFULLY AND CHECK OUT OTHER OPTIONS! I chose Evergreen on the basis of the short videos they commissioned and put on Youtube - all very professional and helpful information. My home assessment was completed in May. Technically competent but fell short on two important details - the routing of the heat pump power source and the location of the external pipe runs. Installation was initially booked for August but then got pushed back to early September and again to early October - staff shortages, work injuries and holidays they said. System was installed and finally up and running mid October but then almost immediately had flow error incidents meaning the system shut off automatically and had to be manually switched back on. Evergreen then sent an engineer (who had handed his notice in that same day) and he said there was a need for an additional pump due to the long pipe runs to and from the heat pump. That was early November. I'm still getting error messages and auto switch offs and it's now the first week of December and still without confirmation as to when Evergreen are going to come round and fix this problem. The individual engineers who visited were great but half of them have now left the company. The management and organisation of the company is poor and impacting customers.
Well it started off reasonably with the initial install and then all down hill from there on. The 6kw Midia heat pump they installed has only heated the hot water for 3 days in well over a year. The heat pump is fitted in my terminal I’ll father,s house and there are aware of his condition. Aaron who works on the office now advises me after making many false promises. He would send me a pump it needs and to get someone else to fit it. They may or may not cover the cost. Promised me the new pump by overnight carriage yet again lies. How is the company with its current level of after still allowed to trade. Very poor after sales
From survey, through to install to post install support we have found Evergreen Energy to be extremely poor. 21 months post commissioning there are still faults with the ASHP system that are not getting resolved and so we have had to resort to help from HIES. The surveyor failed to measure the existing radiators accurately, failed to identify the need for electrical isolation and also failed to find an issue with incoming water pressure. This resulted with no hot water or heating for 10 days in February 2022 during the install. Then it took months to resolve a problem with pressure issues resulting in a new tank and changing of various parts. Then the ASHP failed - required a new fan and motherboard. Then the internal system board had to be replaced. We are still experiencing noise from the hot water pipes and hot water heating issues which Evergreen seem to be unable to resolve in a suitable time frame. Today, 21 months after the commissioning an electrician arrived to carry out testing for the electrical installation certificate and discovered a fused switch had melted but had left the fuse operating - I suspect this could have been a fire hazard. The whole experience has been extremely stressful and the customer service seems to be getting worse as the guarantee period is nearing an end. I certainly would not recommend this company. No doubt the company response will be full of excuses but in the end the responsibility lies at the top with management.
Evergreen Energy installed solar panels and a battery in our house recently and we are really happy with the results. Communication could have been a little better at times - the install date was delayed by a few weeks unfortunately which might have been prevented if we had earlier contact with the project coordinator. When the installation went ahead, everything went smoothly and the system was installed quickly with minimal disruption.
Evergreen was the only company that took accurate measurements of my house and provided calculations to predict heat loss in my property, they also provided good advice on what I need to do to improve insulation and advice on radiator upgrades. I was looking for a particular Heat pump model and PV install on my house and Evergreen was able to provide this at a cost cheaper than anyone else, paired with calculations I had good confidence that it would work. Four months later moving into winter the system seems to be working as expected. There were a couple of delays with the scaffolding and roofers but this was not Evergreen's fault just this was peak season. The installers were professional and kept the work area clean at the end of each working day, it was about 2 weeks from start to finish. The quality of the heat pump and battery install in the garage was great it was like a piece of art hanging on my wall, it takes some space but they planned the position of everything to maximise the space I have left, Thanks Marios, Magic and Radic! you guys did a good job!
Installed a homely Daikin Wednesday. Inaccurate fitting instructions, untrained tech support (that's if you can actually get a response) System running at higher temperatures than previously. Double the power usage. Disappointed client. Very unhappy installer. Would highly not recommend
I have been dealing with Evergreen since August about our enquiry for a heat pump and solar at our new home. We spoke with Liam originally who was happy to help and speak about what our home needed along with booking a free home survey with an actual engineer. We look forward to getting a system with them in the new year once we have installed more insulation. Very professional and happy to offer all information about heat pumps.
When enquiring about air source heat pumps I was informed they didn’t do installations on terraced properties. Surely this makes them useless for the vast majority of properties and installations. Don’t bother if you are living in a terraced house.
Great ,fast job
We had a heat pump fitted. It took about a week, but the installation team were fantastic - punctual, polite and respectful. Nothing was too much trouble. The system was explained clearly and it has worked brilliantly well over the last month, since it was fitted. The temperature in the house is nice and steady and the heat pump itself, nice and quiet. I would heartily recommend using Evergreen Energy.
We had our heat pump installed by Evergreen Energy last October and were really pleased with the installation and service, so when it came to getting Solar and Battery storage installed this year they were our first port of call. We have just had our 5.5kW Solar and 15kW battery storage system installed by Evergreen and once again everything from start to finish has been excellent. The full system looks great and will help us make the most of our solar and off-peak energy tariff; and help to even further reduce the running costs of our heat pump - which has performed brilliantly so far. Great job and thanks again.
Really pleased with the service received. Everything was clearly explained and there wasn't any high pressure selling. Guys who came to my home to do the work were friendly and courteous and kept the disruption to a minimum. Already seeing lower bills despite the indifferent weather
From start to finish evergreen did a sterling job. The project team answered all my concerns initially and the install team were very professional and respected my property. The heat pump has so far exceeded my expectations and I look forward to working with the homely team on fine tuning the system with my existing solar installation.
Evergreen did a great job and the system is working perfectly. Given the bad weather, the Team did really well to manage the other contractors and our expectations.
Pump and solar panels works fantastic. Few changes I will do with app like water temp.
Very happy with the installation, great quality service and communication from start to finish. Professional staff who explained everything thoroughly, the system is working perfectly.
Pleased with the installation of 10 solar panels and a battery. The installation crew were clean, tidy and helpful, and took time to try and sort some IT issues. Additional, patient support from the office resolved the problem. There were some delays in the installation and communication might have been a bit better regarding these, but overall I am very happy.

Oct 22,2024I previously had a very poor experience with this company that I already left a review of, they have however been back and sorted the issues out and I've had no issues since, so I am not as disappointed now.
