Our advisors from the education sector, collectively have over 130 years experience in playgroups, nurseries, Secondary and tertiary settings. We are a local family business that supports the local economy by using local suppliers for components whenever possible.

The cupboards are great and exactly what we needed. Graham works so closely with schools to make sure he can produce the product needed. Highly recommend Foundation Furniture!

We have had the Tambour Door units and absolutely love them - perfect for our DT cupboard and we had cloakroom cupboards so they are all neatly contained! Received today, 2 Mobile Cloakroom Trolley's much earlier than expected. Product quality EXCELLENT!! I would definitely use them again.

Dec 20,2021We bought a coat and bag trolley for our nursery from Foundation Furniture Ltd. Delivery was quick and we were very pleased with it. It is sturdy, well made, good design and attractive. Very effective. After about 6 months of very heavy use, the castors started to fail. When we contacted the company, they immediately sent replacements. Unfortunately they failed again after a further 6 months. The company were again really responsive. Despite no other customers having this problem with the castors - and therefore it is probably to do with how we are using it (we have to wheel it through a room, over a metal lip and out onto concrete every day) - the company have supplied us free of charge with larger, heavier duty castors, which are working brilliantly. Great product and exceptional customer service. Highly recommend.

Feb 01,2025I am not the typical customer of Foundation Furniture Ltd. like a school or nursery. I was looking for a coat trolley to put under my stairs as due to the fuse box, I need storage I can easily remove if I need access. I found Foundation Furniture Ltd. via a Google search and asked them if they could make one of their coat trolleys in a bespoke size. They said yes. Graham and I sorted out the design, the production team raised a concern so we change the measurements, and now the coat trolley fits perfectly under our stairs. It is well made, very sturdy and looks great! Graham was very responsive, helpful, kind, and the process was quick. I highly recommend them. This company could possibly have a whole new customer base and increase sales producing mobile storage items for people's homes. 🙂
