Sold this site a Best Buy gift card more than 6 weeks ago and have yet to receive payment. Told multiple times a check was to arrive (WHEN I WAS ABLE TO GET IN CONTACT WITH SOMEONE) despite originally being set to get a paypal payment. Never arrived, and am still getting the runaround from customer service. Avoid like the plague if you expect quick, seamless gift card transactions.

I ordered a gift card for Olive Garden, took my wife there on her birthday, was told the card was no good. I then checked the balance online (didn't think I'd need to do this after purchasing it) and saw it was $0. It was a waste of time and we ended up paying more than we planned to because the card was no good. I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because I ordered some Einsteins Bagels cards earlier and at least the one we've tried has worked fine.

I've purchased 4 cards with GC Spread. 3 of them ended up being fraudulent. This makes it more of a hassle than it is worth to attempt to save money. Particularly troubling is when the card initially works but then the money is gone after one use when you should still have significant value on the card. I have been credited the money I was owed each time but not always without a great deal of hassle. Despite the sites stated policy of handling disputes within a few days after emailing customer support, I sent three emails with no reply (other than the automated reply stating they got my email) asking for my money back for a card with no value. I then called and had to wait at least a half of an hour and had difficulty speaking to a man who clearly spoke English as a second language (very hard to understand...I tried to be polite but it was frustrating). Even then, I was told I would get a refund but it did not come for a week. At that point I called back and told them I'd just dispute the charge on my credit card and then it was refunded within two days.. It should not be so difficult for honest people to get their money back when dishonest people place bad cards on their site.

When I made the very first order from GiftCard Spread, I experienced some issue with order process regards verification and other stuffs. However, because of their great price offers, I've often used this company. One day, I had an issue with using Target gift card that I bought from them; Target didn't accept gift card for purchasing what I need since it was with Target's bonus gift card promotion. Not like lots of other gift card trading companies which doesn't care about customers after they sell the gift cards, Gift Card Spread was on my side, and solved the problem right away! I recommend this company which is helpful to their customers.

Bought a gift card for my daughter for her birthday (Rue21). She went to the store with her friends and was told there were insufficient funds on the card. She called me in distress. I had to drive over and bring her money. So now I am out the money I spent on the card, and I still had to pay for her puchase. This was my first, and last purchase from Gift Card Spread. I have never had a problem with other card discounters.

I bought a $100 gift card and used only once for $49.50. When I started to use it again for remaining of the balance, it was emptied with $0.00. I was disappointed and frustrated!
