I rarely write reviews and generally have quite a lot of patience but ... Placed a store-to-door order being advised that product would arrive in 5 business days. It's been over 2 weeks now and after multiple chats via live chat/phone to the store of a status update, I was falsely told someone would contact me with a status update on 3 different occasions. I understand there's delays that happen outside of the stores control, but ignoring stakeholders and not keeping them informed of said delays is the best way to sink your business. Burn in hell, Glue store.
I wish I had read these reviews before parting with my money.. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE MUPPETS, ITS A SCAM, YOU DONT RECIEVE YOU ORDER... 277 bucks wasted. I have reported them to consumer standards and afterpay
Do not order from this website!!!! They will process your payment, email an order confirmation then NOTHING!!! Disgusting how they think they can rip people off!
Bought online nearly 3 weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived. Live chat customer service is terrible and when you email them they NEVER respond NOBODY answers the phone also LOL
Emailed about my order still haven’t heard back from them. my last order was sent to the wrong person had to wait 3 weeks for order to arrive. Never shipping with them again.
Such a scam! Ordered a week ago and received no confirmation. Emailed the store and no response for days now. Absolutely appalling and not to mention, illegal. Hope glue store NZ have a good lawyer.
Wish I had checked these reviews before I ordered. The prices all looked too good to be true. Clicked on a sponsored ad that was showing a sale. Made an order - and waited... and waited. No update of shipping. I contacted Glue store on their website after a week of no update (Website said shipping was 3 days from purchase) They said that for some reason my order had not been "pushed" - no explanation as to why. Today I received an email saying that none of my items were actually in stock and the website wasn't updated and refunded me. No communication before this. If I hadn't inquired about my order - what would've happened? Real poor effort - I will not be ordering from them again
A complete waste of time. Been waiting over two weeks for delivery within new zealand no response. No response on customer experience chat.
Purchased $400 worth of stuff for Christmas on the 6/12 during their “guaranteed Christmas delivery for orders over $100” order was shipped in several packages missing one item tried contacting customer support over 6 times via email, phone and chat no response to all of them, finally received Received a generic refund email stating they’re out of stock! 5 days before Christmas! website still says they have stock. Beyond annoyed with their lack of customer service and the fact they continue to take orders online when they “don’t” have stock. Won’t be purchasing from them again. Absolute Muppets
I have purchased a size large Ralph Lauren hoodie .. I have received size medium.. I’ve been emailing them .. no response.. will never ever buy again!!! Serious bad service
Be warned, do NOT buy from these clowns! Customer service is deplorable. Phone number suppled on returns form does not exist….. Returned an item as sizing was incorrect, paid for tracked parcel myself, Auspost shows GlueStore received the item just over 3 weeks ago ~ not heard one word from them, no reply to emails, facebook messages, etc. Absolute rubbish, bunch of thieves essentially. I am taking this further with the ombudsman.
Purchased items from online store. One item was incorrectly described so contacted online and fountaingate store about returning item and was told there was no issue. However when I went in to fountaingate store the manager Tapina refused to refund item and instead was very discriminatory and wouldn’t follow the store policy that was described on the website. She was instead very aggressive and belittling. Complained several times to customer service and eventually contacted by a regional manager. His response was completely unsatisfactory. It’s disappointing that this kind of behaviour goes on in retail especially in a time when retailers are going under. A little more consideration for customers is what’s needed. I would think hard about purchasing from this store especially when there are other retailers who offer the same goods with better customer service.
That manager James is a total incompetent. I would suggest to fire him. First there was a system glitch on their POS which they can not determine if my payment was gone through. Next they gave me a headup that transaction was ok. Then James chased me up saying payment was declined. Of course, I needed to ring my bank to confirm if the transaction gone through or not. I told them I was happy to pay again if the bank said ok. I am not banking person and my bank app was not clear which pending is from which transaction. The staffs can say anything they want to explain, I still only believe what bank say based on their system. While I was on hold waiting for my bank to pick up, this guy manager James told me to do the call outside/go somewhere and come back. Worst customer service. NOT DESERVED NOT WORTH TO BE CALLED , TO BE PAID AS MANAGER. I took my time to ring my bank without complaining the inconvenience caused by their POS and my time wasting to wait for call. OF COURSE, I SAID NO AND CONTINUE WITH MY CALL. When I came back from the bank to pay, lucky that James left for lunch, I was happy to give it straight to him. I spoke to Kayla afterward, Kayla is amazing. She should be the manager. not this low level of customer service experience and understanding.
Purchased two items from glue online store on the 31st May, and still have to received my items 2 weeks later. Contacted Australia post, assuming they had lost it, however they informed me the package was never actually physically lodged. Sent two emails to the customer service team and called multiple times over the span of a week and absolutely no response. Possibly the worst and least responsive customer service team I have ever dealt with. Would not recommend purchasing from this store online, too risky and no compensation whatsoever given.
I wish I had read other reviews here before buying from Glue Store - but at least now I know I will never shop there again! I purchased a top online and it didn’t fit - not a big deal, this happens. The options were to pay to return it to their warehouse, or return it in store to a physical shop. I used their website to locate my nearest store (which was still a 30 minute drive from me). When I arrived at the shopping centre, I couldn’t find the store. I spoke to the customer service desk at the shopping centre who told me that Glue Store closed their shop over a month ago!! So I completely wasted my time and money travelling to a shop that doesn’t exist. I asked Glue Store if they could send me a return shipping label for the inconvenience the mistake on their website caused me - but they told me no they don’t do free return shipping - even when they have inconvenienced their customers. Clearly a poorly run company if they can’t even keep their website up to date and their customer service (or customer care as they call it) is shocking - they clearly don’t care for their customers!!

Terrible customer service missing items in my purchase no refund or replacement as of yet. BEWARE this seems a common complaint of glue store. Will not be back
**BE AWARE** Ordered online.. parcel got delivered by AusPost, placed in a “safe area” which was visible by the public, ended up missing. Parents were home all day, so no attempts in reaching out to them was ever made. Got in touch with a Glue online customer service member by the name of Sophie, no help there. Deadset useless. Started pointing the finger at AusPost, told me to raise it up with them. Why should I do the dirty work? I paid for my item. Glue should do what ever it takes to resolve my issue. Very unsatisfactory, will never shop here again.
I ordered four T-shirts, which had to be shipped interstate. Customer service reps asked a question I had quickly, the shirts arrived a day early, and I am very happy with their cut and quality. Would highly recommend :)

Aug 01,2023Purchased an item which turned out being out of stock. It wasn't until I chased up the order that they advised it was out of stock and a refund will be processed. Refund not processed and its been almost 2 weeks since the start of my enquiries. They have the WORST customer service and I wouldn't recommend buying from them online or trying to communicate with them electronically. I will not be buying a thing from them again!
